Dear Journal~

Hey!  It's me, Ronee'!  How are you doing?  I'm doing fine, couldn't be better! :)

In about seven/eight days is our Fall Festival at our church.  It is shaping up to be one of our best ones EVER!  The Kevin Spencer Family is slated to be the main attraction for the evening, and they're expecting something like several thousand people to attend.  It is going to be an exciting time in the Lord!

I'm really lookin' forward to it.  I love the Spencer Family; what an anointed group of performers!!

After that we have Thanksgiving (and the twin's first birthday) to think about.  We're having a party for them; there will be cake and presents flyin'!  It's going to be a wild time; somehow cakes and babies do not mix!!  LOL

I mean, have you ever seen a baby when cake is placed in front of him (or her)?  They get more cake on them instead of in them!!  I've seen piccys of when I was a baby, and I was one cakey mess from head to toe!!  LOL

One year old.  Wow.  Hard to believe that it's been a year since Ian and Isaiah joined our family!  They are walking, talking, into everything!!  One has to keep tabs on them at all times; they're incredibly active, energetic!  And they are absolutely adoRAble!!  I love my baby brothers sooo much!!

When I see my baby brothers, I can't help but think of turkey, stuffing.  See, they were born on Thanksgiving Day; they were due on Christmas.  They couldn't wait; they came on Turkey Day instead. 

Speaking of Turkey Day, we're having company.  My sisters from Texas, Louisiana, and Colorado will be coming home, which means I can see my cousins again.  Johnny's brother from New York, Erick, is also coming; it's going to be a full house.  In addition, Anh and his girlfriend are coming from Oklahoma.  It's going to be total mass chaos at Casa Sandusky!!

It's also going to be a blast!!!!  :D

I can't wait!!

We are starting to practice our songs for the upcoming Christmas Cantata at church.  Same goes for school.  I have been slated to sing "O Holy Night" as a solo at both the cantata and school program.  People seem to like how I do it.  I love that song; it is one of the most beautiful Christmas carols I have ever heard, and the message has so much meaning, even now!

Two of the best versions I have ever heard of "O Holy Night" are the ones done by Celine Dion and David Phelps.  WOW!  I hear either version, and I get goosebumps on top of my goosebumps!!  If I could sing "O Holy Night" halfway as good, I'd have it made!!

I don't know what we're doing for Christmas; I am, however, making my Christmas list (and checkin' it twice!!  LOL).  I want some new clothes (ofcourse!), art supplies, an mP3 player, some spendin' money (of corse!!), CD's by Josh Grogan, Celine Dion, Brad Paisley, and Loretta Lynn, good health (naturally, but you can't buy that!!  I do, however, put it on my list!), "Dewey the Library Cat" (book), new earrings, walnut-scented body spray, or anything from Bath and Body Works (yummmmmmmmm; I go in that store, and I go crazy!!!!).

Nothin' real fancy, nothin' real extravagant.  I'm not askin' for a  million dollars or a Hummer limo, or diamond-encrusted clothes, anything like that.  I'm just askin' for stuff that will make me, a normal teenaged girl, happy.  :)

It doesn't take much to make me happy.  As long as it involves art, music/singing, or reading, I'll be happy!  Another thing I'd love is a gift certificate to Borders or Half Price Books!  That'd make me very happy, too, as would gift certificates to Olive Garden, Golden Corral, or Appleby's!! :)

I love this time of year.  The excitment of the holidays, the smell of Christmas trees scenting the air, the appearance of lights or other Christmas decorations signals that birthday time can't be far away.  I'm a Christmas chick:  was born ON Christmas Day.  I'll be sweet sixteen!!  Wooo-hooooooooooooooooooo!!!  I'll be able to drive!!!!

I'm taking classes now twice a week; it's interesting.  Never thought there'd be so much involved!!  So much to learn, so many rules; it's confoosin'!!  I just hope when I get behind the wheel, I don't do soemthing stupid like put the car in the lake or through the garage...my parents would KILL me!!!!

Already some of my friends are teasing me, saying, "Stay off the roads:  Reaux is learning to drive!!"  LOL  Thanks a lot, friends!  With friends like that, I don't need any enemies!! LOLOL

Well, I've chawed on long enough.  Time to hit the road, folks; bus due to come in about ten minutes.  I will write in here again soon; until then, this is your gal pal, Ronee', signin' outta here (or should that be singin'????).  Take care and may God bless you as much as He's been blessin' me!  C-ya; wouldn't want to be ya!
