A silly little flash fiction about a couple of "suits" trying to sell encyclopedias to a computer literate Henry. This was part of a creative writing exercise. I included the words parrot, wings, canoe, ocean, dog, remote and orangatans. Okay, its a silly story!

"It was a day like any other day. The alarm clock sounded; Henry shaved, showered, poured a hot cup of coffee. It was a day like every other day...until...the doorbell rang and rang. Then there
was knocking!

Henry quickly pulled the curtain aside and took a peek.

"Oh not them again!", he groaned as he saw the two "suits" with
briefcases standing at his front door. "How do I get rid of these clowns? Last time they barged in and stayed until dinnertime trying to sell me encyclopedias! I won't buy any this time. Breathe, Henry, Breathe! You can do this! Get rid of these
bums!"

Henry slowly descended the stairs, knowing that he would have
to be firm and rude to these salesman.

He opened the door, cautiously.

"Good day, Sir. I see last time one of our sales reps was here, you were really hospitable to him, so here we are again! We know our sets of encyclopedias is just what you need!"

"Listen, I don't want or need an encyclopedia! I have a computer
and I threw out my set of encylopedias about ten years ago you idiot! How many of those sets do you plan of selling to fools who want to throw away their hard earned money?"

Out of nowhere the parrot flew down the stairs from the kitchen.
Into the salesman's face.

"Bawk, bawk! Don't buy any! Cheap bastards! Crooks!
Idiots! Get out! You lying sack of donkey ass!", cried
out the parrot...

"Grrrrrrr!!!", the two salesmen ripped off their masks and
outfits and what do you know...I could have guessed by
the stink of them...

two smelly old orangatans trying to sell encyclopedias!!

"Get out! Get out of here!", Henry screamed trying to
slam the door in their faces, but he wasn't quick enough.

One of them grabbed the parrot and ripped off his wings.

"There you go, loud mouth pinhead. You call me a donkey
ass? Well let's see you fly w/ no wings, if you can
I will eat the encyclopedias."

"Really?", said the parrot. "Okay, can I up the wager? How
about a money wager? Give me all your cash then eat all the encyclopedias!", Parrot said calmly reaching in his pocket
for the remote.

Out of nowhere, came this canoe with wings buzzing down the stairs with his buddy inside that scooped him up and parrot
and his friend flew around the yard laughing at the two
stunned orangatans!

"Okay, stupids, pay up. You took parrots bet. Give me all your
money and I want to see you eat those enclopedias. I have some
salt to flavor them.

"Eat crow baby. Parrot won!"

"Grrrrrrrr!!", the orangatans ran into the house after
Henry...

"Parrots, help!! "

"Get to the window Henry...forget about the cash...

"Open the window quickly!"

Henry quickly opened the window as the canoe with wings
flew under it...He just made it as the two parrots saved him
from being attacked by the orangatans encyclopedia salesmen.

Now the orangatans live in Henry's house. Of course it a mess now
as they tore it apart, having a tantrum over losing the bet
and Henry escaping. Orangatans have nasty tempers and
are terrible housekeepers.

Henry, Parrot and Parrot flew to the ocean and stopped for
some seafood and a few beers...

Yes, and the dog. Well, he didn't really give a damn
about being in a story about orangatans that sold encyclopedias
but he still wants his cut, so the parrots gave him a few bucks
to shut up and promised to take him to the movies...

You are getting better and better at writing as the time goes by. Keep it up. I did read your two lates short stories and got a lot of thinking out of them. Take care and stay positiva and happy. We all do that and all we can do is try.
