     Just a little sweet story.

Jennifer went up front to the pastor to ask him to pray for her. Jennifer was feeling overwhelmed at the prospect of another year alone. She didn't want to tell the pastor that though so she thought she would make up something when she approached him. This pastor was Jennifers age and he was single too. Odd circumstance to say the least but she knew he was a bit wierd also but he is a pastor so hey a prayer can't  hurt anything right? He smiled at Jennifer and looked at her. Jennifer smiled back. She told him the truth. Uh oh the truth. It just spilled out of her mouth like some wacky waterfall that wasn't meant to happen. "Hi pastor she began, I do not want to see another year alone, hey you must know a bit about what I am going through because you are single too." "Can you pray that my husband comes quick because I am tired of all this waiting." The pastor smiled at Jennifer and prayed. "Dear Lord, bring Jennifer that husband she craves and by the way can you make it where she can meet me for lunch today? Thanks Lord, Amen." Jennifer looked up at the pastor. He smiled at Jennifer and said.."well? will you go to lunch with me today?" Jennifer looked at the pastor and just fainted right there at his feet. The pastor caught Jennifer and held her closely in his arms. The ushers rushed up to help the pastor out. The pastor sent them away. "Oh I have this all under control he assured them. One usher rolled his eyes. The other usher snickered under his breath. The pastor looked at Jennifer and called out her name.."Jennifer, Jennifer,,are you o.k.?" Jennifer looked up at the pastor and stood to her feet and replied.."yeah I am o.k." The pastor looked at her and once again asked her.."well, are we gonna go to lunch or aren't we?" Jennifer smiled at the pastor. Jennifer replied..."I thought you would never ask." With that they walked hand in hand right out of the church and were married the same day. Jennifer didn't have to wait anymore.
