Reverend Louis Lowery, a close friend and marriage ceremony minister told the congregation, “In preparing for the special marriage ceremony of Bud and Niki I became concerned about the serious nature of marriage and the painful difficulty of many relationships.” He turned to us and said, “I seriously prayed for you both as well as myself asking for clear guidance to see though the eyes of spirit. I was given a dream.”

THE DREAM

In my dream I was walking along a path in a beautiful forest. I found two Native American arrowheads. I was delighted at my fortune of finding not one but two sacred works of art. I noticed how well balanced they were and how similar with the same earth tone colors. Holding them one in each hand I placed them together and they were especially made to fit together.

They were so shaped in way that when placed together they interlocked without force or pressure.

I also realized they were created in this way from the same stone. I was amazed at the Creator who had the patience and skill to create these two that fit together as one.

I had found a priceless treasure.

While waking from this dream I remembered a Bible verse, “It is God that has made us…” and I knew this was the answer to my prayer for guidance.

It was made clear to me your lives have been shaped by immortal hands and guided to be together. You know this in your hearts.

Individually you are each a sacred priceless treasure created as the handiwork of God. Your uniqueness is sacred and you never lose this.

Together you become two treasures in one revealing the greatness of our Creator. This is indeed Holy Matrimony.

The arrow as the symbol for your marriage is one of strength, purpose and in the hands of our Creator right direction.

What you may have thought was painful scars from your past had been necessary learning patterns of life to enlighten you with purposeful design to experience true love together. Like the arrow much has been chipped away to fly upward to the greatest heights of love.

Love each other as you love yourself and you will fit together as the joyful priceless treasures you are. Your love is worthy of commitment.

THE BLESSING

I pray dear God as Bud and Niki join together in Holy Matrimony may the kiss of love fully awaken within their hearts the joy of sharing love together.

May they weather storms of life in each others arms encouraging each, along their sacred journey on Mother Earth, assurance of love everlasting.

Now in the presence of these witnesses and all of heaven by the power invested in me I pronounce you husband and wife.

Bud you may kiss Niki your bride.

THE PRAYER

We bless and thank you dear God for these two who have discovered the special love in their hearts for each other.

Thank you God for the sacred path they have walked with you leading them to each other.

We thank you for all their relatives mothers and fathers, friends and all their teachers along the path.

We pray to fill each heart with the joy of pure love.

We pray for the wisdom to honor our Father and Mother energies equally in this marriage and in all of life that our days be long, healthy and happy.
