Dear Kendra~

I am so happy to hear that your boys,Chad and Chase, have arrived, safe and sound!  Congratulations; I share in your joy!

Speaking of baby boys, my own twin boys, Ian and Isaiah, turn one year old in just 17 more days!  Seems hard to believe that it's been just about one year ago when they were born!  Tims sure flies when you're having fun! LOL

Well, another election has come and gone.  While it is a historic day for our nation (the country's first African-American president), on the other hand, I fear for our nations' future.  While Barack Obama may end up doing a great job as the next incoming president, I continue to have my misgivings about the man. 

Some of his ideals just don't add up (granting legal citizenship to illegal aliens, rights for gays, abortion rights, et al).  I can't help the fact that whenever I look at Obama, I am reminded of a snake.  He gives me the heebie-jeebies!

This is when we need to, as a nation, get down on our knees (no, better yet, on our faces) and pray, pray, pray for our country as never before!

We are in trouble, a whole heap o' trouble!!

McCain didn't have a chance.  Sad!!

Barack Obama's historic win will no doubt be the topic of choice for a very long time to come. 

How are you feeling, Kendra?  I pray, hope that you're not in too much pain.  Are you out of the hospital, or are you still in?  Let me know, so I know where to send the baby congrats card!

Poor Bill was upset this morning upon seeing the paper.  When he saw that Barack Obama won the election, he broke down and cried. So did I, but as I said earlier, all we have to do is pray for our new president-to-be (as much as we have our worries, concerns about him) and pray that we don't lose face or our belief system that was handed down to us by our forefathers!  I feel so bad for all those who voted for McCain!

How is the weather there?  Here it's partly cloudy and cool, temps in the upper forties to middle fifties.  We may get some chances of rain this evening or sometime during the overnight.  Hope the weather is okay where you're at!

Am back.  Ian needed his diaper changed; what a mess!!  Yuck!!  I sure hope he's proud of himself, is all I have to say!  LOL  I also fed Emir and bathed Isaiah; Isaiah got into the flour.  He was a mess from head to foot; he looked just like a little snowman!  LOL Another big mess for mamma to clean up!! Goodness!!

A mamma's work is never done!  *Siggghhhhhh*

I'm off work today while Bill is at his job.  I have a dental appointment at one-thirty; cleaning, regular checkup.  Hopefully Dr. Potter will give me a good report; I can only pray!!

In addition to the dental appointment, I also have to do laundry (a neverending job here) and go grocery shopping.  I have to get this done by the time Bill gets home at six; then I will have to cook for the family, make sure the kids get their schoolwork done, check it once they're through with it, then get their evening meds/make sure they get ready for their bedtimes.  I'll be lucky if I get done by ten, ten thirty!!  CRAZY!!
