Father, father, I want a puppy.

You decide to go to buy a puppy today.

You ask your child to be ready in five minutes.

After quarter of hour, you ask once more.

Half hour later you drag the child from the computer and insert into clothes.

Fish him out of them, and insert into Child's clothes.

Put your wife's trousers and shirt back.

.

You put all the phones off not to be disturbed (for those who believe that this drastic measure will bring them to total collapse, just skip this step and pretend that you never heard such an absurd suggestion).

You enter into the car and drive to the shop.

.

As usual, you didn't check the directions, so you find yourself in some other part of the town.

Not that you are sure that you are still in the same town.

Your SatNav sais to you something, but you don't understand because you hadn't time to change the language from Chinese or Japanese or whatever to regular language that normal people speak -English.

After looking for a moment on the gadget, you begin to suspect that it's not SatNav but video.

You write a little note in your mind not to buy gadgets through internet and file it in some out of the way brain cell.

Now you look once more outside the car.

There are many people on the streets but you heroically resist the temptation and decide against asking for directions.

.

Three hours later, totally by chance, you pass near the place that seems to be your destination.

As you came through unidirectional street, and already reached the street corner, you begin to drive back.

Then return to the corner to let the car behind you to pass.

You resume driving back.

You return to the street corner to let another car pass.

You get out of the car and look all the length of the street.

You see a single car, wait for it to pass and drive back.

You didn't count for the car that leaved the parking and to drove in your direction.

.

Half hour later you succeed coming back near the shop and see that there is no parking place.

You return to the street corner and park there.

.

You enter the shop and go to look the wall show of rifles.

After child's seventh nag, you continue to dog's department.

The child stops near a cage with Spaniel.

You sneer and pull your child near bulldog's cage.

You show to your child how good THIS dog is and try petting him (the dog).

.

Four hours later, you go out from the hospital, where they succeeded to
put the dog to sleep and opened his jaw.

You feel your hand numb after a little operation of sewing back the part of it.

You cannot drive, so call for you wife.

When she comes, you understand that you made two grave mistakes:

You interrupted her from very important call;

And you endangered your child so much, that it is the last time she let's you do things your way.

She herself will buy the puppy the next time.

You hear "let fathers do mothers job! Hm!" but stay silent.

You are not opening the new argument before this one ends.

So, before the bed, you ask her to excuse you.

Kiss her and go to sleep in the living room so that your cries when you touch your hand won't wake her.

You are lucky to end the day in such a good form.

It could be worse.

If she would decide not to excuse you today.

And phone tomorrow to her mother…
