Dear Mattie~

Thank you for your e-mail of the other day; sorry I didn't get back to it until now!  Nice to hear from you!

We are recovered from the twins' first birthday party.  Oh, Lord, what a mess!  Cake and icing everywhere: on the twins, on the other kids, on the table, on the floor, on the walls...*WHEE*  Whatta huge mess to clean up!!  LOL  Glad that's overwith and done!

Tomorrow some of the kids are due home; they are going to celebrate Thanksgiving with us.  Steffi's coming from Texas, Anh and  his girlfriend, Thu, are due in from Oklahoma, Melizza and Dianna, who live a few blocks from us, will be coming, and on Tuesday, Lightning, Darnell, and their brood will be flying in from Colorado.  In addition, Dwerlina and her family will be arriving from Louisiana; they come in on Wednesday. 

The house will be full to the gills! 

Thank God for the addition we put on over three years ago; now we have room (a little, not much, but a little room is better than none, I always say!! LOL)!  It's going to be crazy here at Casa Sandusky! 

Gotta love it!  (And I do!!)  *giggle*

Congrats on the one year anniversary of Korina Grace joining your family!  She is such a pretty little girl!  Loved reading about her standing her ground with her older sister, Khristmas; that is too funny!  LOL Sounds like some of my kids when provoked!  Crutches or canes flyin' through the air, and then some howls, not to mention, bumps and bruises!  LOL

I tell them not to use their canes or crutches as weapons, but they tell me they have to learn to defend themselves somehow!! LOL  Just as long as they don't knock 'em out or put 'em in the hospital, I'll be happy, but I don't need any violent behavior from my kids!!  They ought to know better!

How is the weather there?  Here it's cold, rainy; we may get some snow by Turkey Day.  Not lookin' forward to winter; my Cajun blood can't take it!!  Give me spring or summer any day; am NOT ready for winter's grasp just yet!!

We are going out for Thanksgiving:  the whole kittenkaboodle is going out to eat.  Let someone else do the cookin', in other words.  We are going to go out to eat at the Golden Corral; that's one of our favorite places to eat.  They'll be open that day (and on Christmas Day as well).  After we stuff ourselves at the Golden Corral, we'll come back home and collapse on the couch, veg out and watch football until we go to bed by eight; then the next day we're hittin' the malls for the bargains (and for the kiddoes to see Santa Claus; they already have their Christmas wish lists made out!).

*Sighhh*  Hard to believe another year is about over.  Where DOES the time go by??  I'd like to know!!

Well, I am going to go now; twins are squeaking, starting to wake up.  It won't be long before the others follow suit.  So before the craziness erupts, I will let you go.  Take care and may you have a most happy Thanksgiving!  God bless you and yours mightily; will write again soon!

P.S.:  I just wonder what the Golden Corral is going to do when they realize that there's going to be a party of nearly eighty people (US) coming in for Thanksgiving; it's already going to be nuts there as it is!  And then WE come!! WHEE! LOL 

Actually, we called ahead, so they have plenty of advance warning!! LOL
