Can you believe it?? I can't!!
Hi!! It's me, Sage Rainbow McDermott! The one formerly known as "Witch-Girl"! Funny, but I don't miss that old life; I am enjoying my new one too much!
It seems hard to believe that it's been about a month since I accepted Jesus Christ into my heart. I have been made into a new person; my life's totally changed. I'm going to church every week; I'm getting along with my aunt Reba and Uncle Fenton better, and I've started to make new friends!
I feel cleaner, lighter, happier. I don't know why I didn't think about accepting Christ sooner into my life; He's really cleaned this (former) witch-girl up, inside AND out!
I have even gone as far as buying myself a Bible, looking for a job, so I can provide for my family. So far, nothing's come up yet, but I'm not giving up hope; something will surface! I have been reading the Bible; it's confusing, but I am taking a Bible class, to help me understand it better. It's fun!
I have seen some of my old friends at school, but don't want to have nothing to do with them (or at least, not yet). Maybe down the road I can witness to them, tell them about Jesus, what He's done for me. That'd be too cool if they came to Christ like I did!
I suddenly don't find the occult, witchly things so appealing. I've given that all up. I am now reading Christian young adult fiction or nonfiction; there are some amazing books out there in the Christian literary market! I've gotten rid of all my black or dark clothes, have gotten some brighter, cheerier looking clothes. Gone, too, are the skimpy, sexy clothes; I'm covering myself up, doing my hair different, making myself look more human. :)
People can't seem to recognize me when they see me. They're like: "Sage??" and I can't help but giggle with joy! They love the new me, and I do, too!
Now I am busy with church, getting ready for our Christmas pageant. I am in the pageant; I am singing "O Holy Night". My first solo! I am nervous! I pray I do well! I don't want to screw up!!
Say a prayer for me! Thanks! :)
I'm now known as "Angel-Girl" coz that's what I'll be when I get to Heaven. An angel who will earn her wings. I don't want to be called "Witch-Girl" anymore; that's in the past; don't want to be reminded of that dark, sad time in my life!
I have forgiven my parents for abandoning me, and right now, my aunt, uncle, and myself are working to locate them. Maybe we can be reunited; that way, I can put this part of my life at an end, and I can see for myself that I still love them down deep inside. It's not easy at times, but I'm determined to make it work! :)
Well, I have to go now. Have to practice tonight; the pageant's this weekend, on Saturday and Sunday. Pray it all goes well, especially when I do my solo! God bless you always, and take care! Write to you soon!
Luv, your friend, Sagie (Angel-Girl). :D
