Dear Journal~

Johnathon here.  Hope this finds you all well, happy!

I am trying like heck to try to listen to the teacher talking, but the truth of the matter is this:  he is boring me to tears.  His voice is monotone, humdrum, like he doesn't give a rip. 

I know the feeling.  I'd rather be in my nice, warm bed than sitting here in a hot, stuffy classroom all the livelong day!

I'm just glad it's Friday!!  That means tomorrow I can sleep in to noon or even two o'clock if I so choose.  I love Saturdays; Saturday is my favorite day of the week!  I can do what I want, when I want, with (hardly) anybody to bother me at will!

I wish I could say I could sleep in on Sundays, too, but nope.  Sunday's church day.  We get up by six in order to be out of the house at seven fifteen, seven twenty at the extreme latest.  We go out to eat at Golden Corral (or Denney's or Cracker Barrel), then we go to our church, where the kids have Sunday school at nine-thirty sharp, then go to the services (9 and 11 a.m.). 

Sunday night we have church again, at six. 

We have to be there earlier because I help out with the deaf members of our church family, and I'm also in the King's Kids children's worship team/choir.

It's fun, but at times, it can be a pain because it sure puts a serious dent into my fun time!

Healthwise, I'm doing wonderful:  no new alarming symptoms, no seizures, no nothing.  It's like my MD has slowed down to a pitiful crawl.  In a way, that's great because then I don't have to be worrying about my health so danged much! 

It's bad enough I have to have therapy just about every day, let alone, be suctioned, or take meds that taste like caca!

It's worse when I end up in the hospital again!!  Then my whole world comes crashing down like dominoes!  I HATE it!!

The family is good:  mom, dad, everybody.  Ronee' did have a cold, but other than a leftover cough, she's over it, back to her annoying self.  LOL

We are going to see Celine Dion in concert next menth; she's due to come to Nashville again.  We have tickets; she's good and all, but personally, I'd much rather see Reba McEntire with Kelly Clarkson or maybe Kenny Rogers, or perhaps Ronnie Milsap (AGAIN!!).

In July, we may be going to see the "America's Got Talent Tour"; they're due to come in July, "they" meaning Nuttin' But Stringz, Donald Braswell, Queen Emily, Kaitlyn Maher, David Militello, Neal Boyd, and Eli Mattson. 

That'd be neat, but then I'd have to hear Ronee' talk about Kaitlyn Ashley again.  She drives me crazy!  (Ronee' mostly, but also Kaitlyn; she's not that special!!)

Christmas was good:  got lots of neat things:  money, books, new video games for my computer, a new mp3 player (mine broke; Wilhem stepped on it by accident; I could have KILLED him!!), clothes, shoes, socks, undies, new men's cologne (Stetson and Peak), and new gel/mousse/spray for my hair.  I also got some new gloves and a new winter coat.

I was sad to see Christmas end, but I'm glad it's over.  It was good to have my brother and sisters home, but it was too crowded, too noisy, for my liking, and I felt claustrophobic, as there wasn't much room to move around with all the kids, cousins there.  Now I can breathe much easier, and I am much happier!

New Year's has since come and gone; now we face an uncertain 2009.  Next week the new President is sworn into office (Barrack Obamma), and I'm still not sure as to whether I like him yet.  Some of his policies just don't go with what I believe in, and he gives me the nervous creeps!

We shall see what we shall see, but to tell you the truth, I'm going to miss George Walker Bush, Jr.!

The weather here has been nasty lately:  last week, we had flooding (not so much at our place, but around town, and the Cumberland's running pretty high), and now we  have snow, cold.  Crazy!  We may get some more snow before the new week's out, thanks to another Arctic Express.  It's been colder than normal here, with above average precip; really a rough one this winter for the Southland!

Speaking of weather, I've been spending time on YouTube, and there's this lady in Texas (StormSpinner1) who has taken some neat piccys of weather that she's put into videos, and they're really something!  She should seriously consider becoming a chaser; she'd be great at it!

Well, class is fixin' to end (thank GOD!!), so I will go for now.  I will write in here again another day.  Take care, and may God bless you always!
