Oh, why did I do it?? Why did I ever think of bouncing my stupid basketball in the house??
I didn't mean to knock over my mom's prized antique vase that she'd inherited from her great grandmother! It was an honest mistake; yet she's acting like I committed a horrible crime!!
This is your friend, Casey Dawn Hackberry writing. As you can see, I'm not in the best of moods. Got busted again; grounded until she sees fit.
That means, no friends over. No trips to the mall. No going to the movies (and I want to see "Marley And Me"; heard it's a good one!). No skateboarding at the park. No nothing. Just me in my room, where I can think about the consequences of my actions.
The only place I can go, according to mom, is to school and back. No phone calls. I almost didn't get to write on here, but I had to get on here, tell you what's happened to me.
I did this yesterday. And I'm feeling pretty rotten, if you want to know the honest truth. I should have never brought my basketball indoors; what on earth was I thinking????
Mom said if I make one more infraction, the computer is off for good. That means I would have to do my journaling at school, at the library. Then you would hardly hear from me 'cos it seems everyone wants to use the computer at the same time, and it's harder than heck to get one.
The computer is the best thing that's ever happened to me. It helps me to pass the time (if I don't have any homework) between stupid doctor visits; that's another thing that I always seem to be doing. It's really a pain!!
It's worse whenever I have to have a surgery, but thank God I haven't needed any lately. (My last surgery was three years ago, when I was seven. Hopefully I won't need any more for a while.)
Dr. Potter (he's my pediatrician) says the growths on my face have slowed down; but I still need to have them checked (via MRI or CT-scan) every few months. If they start growing again, I may have to go under the knife. Oh, I hope not; I don't like having to go through surgery, let alone, being in the hospital!
I got this computer for Christmas, as I stated in my last entry, but if I don't watch my step next time, this may be the last time you'll hear from me. Mom has really lowered the boom on me.
I still wish I had a brother or a sister. That way, I could have possibly gotten away with this by blaming them! Oh, the horror of it all! I'm toasted!
~Casey. :(
