Johnathon isn't sure if he can handle another season of the hit reality television program, "American Idol".

I'm not so sure if I can handle another year of "American Idol".  It started again last night, much to my dismay.

I've really never liked AI since it started eight years ago, and I still can't stand it today.  A good part of the reason are some of the singers who try out for the show.  Some of them can't sing.

I mean, some of these so-called "singers" sound worse than twenty howling dogs in heat.  They are really bad; I don't know how they can possibly say that they even  have any talent!  I could sing circles around some of them!!

Last night was the first round of auditions.  Tonight is the second round; then next week, round three before the Hollywood round starts.  Out of all those who proceed to the Hollywood showing, they will soon be whittled down to 36; those 36 will then compete in the semi finals before eventually there will only be two left.

Out of those two, one will be crowned the next American Idol.

In order to try out, one has to be sixteen years old or older, something like 28-30.  I'm in that category, but there is no way on God's green earth that I am going to go on national television and  make a total a**wipe out of myself!

That's my sister's job.  LOL

I don't know if I could handle the icy comments provided by Simon Cowell, who is known to reduce contestants to tears.  If I were singing and he said something cruel to me, I would do one of two things:  cry or punch his livin' lights out!!  He has no business being so cruel!  They ought to try him for abusive comments, throw him in jail!!

I've never met him, nor do I care to.  Now, Ronee' has met him, and she said he was very nice.  I think she needs to have her head examined!!

I will not have anything to do with him, or with Randy (can't stand his "Yo, dawg!") or the fact that Paula, Simon, and Randy laugh at the bad contestants.  That's beyond mean!!  Paula seems the nicest out of the three judges, but even she can be mean at times.

I just wish that AI would just go off the air permanently.  It's nearly as bad as "America's Got Talent"; everyone goes ga-ga over a four-year-old girl or a fat opera guy, and there were more qualified acts who should have advanced (David Militello, for one; I still say he was robbed!!).  If either AI or America's Got Talent got the axe of cancellation, I'd be very happy!

Then I wouldn't have to listen to those God-awful singers who sound worse than a cat caught in a blender or to my stupid sisters who act like AI is the best thing ever on television!  Typical girlie-girls!  Aghh, they drive me CRAZY!!

When a singer makes my hearing aids squeal, there is something very wrong here!!  Last night some did just that, and I was more than ready to ram the television set with my wheelchair!!

Well, I am going to go; mom's ordered pizza, and I'd best be ready to be first in line before the others eat it up and by the time I get there, there'd be nothing left!  That's what usually happens!

I will write in here again soon.  All I can say is that I will be glad when AI ends in May; I'm already counting the days to the finals!!

Bye for now!  Take care and God bless!

~Johnathon.  :(
