I wanted to do so much...

I need to take Anat to the cosmetician. Ok. We enter the car and go.

Here we are. She gets out and enters the building.

In order to dillydally quarter of an hour until I will have to take her back, I decide to go to Mega-shop to withdraw money from the device they've put there last week.

Arrived, parked close to the device and aproached it. I see a woman. Near stands another. Both watch the screen. (Oh, I know this look - it is very familiar to me. I saw the same in the cowshed when was in kibutz the last spring.) They are hardly trying to understand what to do: "There is the possibility that you'll be debited for this action in your bank". A little bit down there I can see "yes."

"After few minutes of strained thought process (I swear, I heard Tick-Tick-Bach...) of both of them (yes, in order to think better, they held hands), apparently the device decided that it is a waist of time to expect that anything more will happen today, and the screen changed to "the device is temporarily out of order".

OK. You won't have me this easy. I will go to the mall and take out the money there. And loiter between stores in order to kill the surplus time. So that suits me even better.

And here I am. Approach the device, withdraw a wallet from the pocket...Once more withdraw a wallet from the pocket...

Stop! Wait a monute! There is no wallet! But of course! Back at home I asked Anat to take my wallet down from the second floor, but didn't check the execution and so the wallet didn't came to my lap.

Well, then. Return home. Park near the door and try to open... And second time try to open…

It's a little bit difficult without the key. Where is it? Oy, no! Surely it fell when I looked for the wallet..

I Return to the mall. Take the key. Return home. Take the wallet. Return to the Mall to take some money from the hole in the wall!

Ooph! I Try to wipe the forehead dry from the perspiration but just smear it all over the face.

OK. Now. Where was I?
Oh Yes: Take out the wallet. Take out the card, put into the groove and begin to unscramble what is writen on the screen (of course it's different from that in Mega-shop).

I succed to move on and the appliance gives signs that there is something to take out.
Why something? It is but writen on the screen!

The matter is that just in the same moment that the appliance is saying me something, the phone begins to give out shouting sounds. (Do you too belong to those, who when see the mobile pfones' ads about ringing as promissing something good, think about interupted silence in the cinema? and nice ride in bus where you hear at least 27 rings between 2 minutes stops and everybody around you is CONNECTING in such a loud way that you want to shout to them: "let your niece's boyfriend's sister's husband take a leave!!!")

Instead of looking on the screen, I begin to take out the phone from the place in the pocket near the ejected wallet.
I try to open the device (O Holly! I call my precious phone apparatus the device!!!! What it will be next? I'll call my networking "time consuming tasks"?)

I succed in oppening my gorgeous mobile apparatus and what do I hear? NOTHING!!!!.
Why the connection is broken down always when we need it? I won't use it ever again!!!
Wait a moment. It's not the connection. It's just the phoner who finished to ring.

I check out for the caller's number. "Private number". Why, it's so logical! What I wanted all in all? To know who phoned me? Well, it's PRIVATE. (Private? Why, phonning me isn't private enough!! It reminds me of childhood days when you ringed on any door and immediately ran, so they won't catch you. Still playing these childish games are we! I can do you anything because you don't know who it is. Just see how many Private numbers there are!)

Well. That's it. Most probabaly it's Anat who phoned me to say that she finished her treatment. At least I've got my money.

Take money… But it's not there. Just a note : "Your balance is not sufficient for this operation."

Oh yeh! Of course. Why not!. Why there should be money if I've given yesterday the card to my son to buy a shirt? It seems that the shirt wasn't the only item he bought.

Nuuh well. I'm used to be without money in my pockets (those in whose house dwell teenagers, know that this is just the most natural way to live as their suction actions don't give you time to replenish the pockets).

OK.
OK once more - I'm saying this mantra while breating slowly and ride in direction of where I've left Anat to take her home.
I wanted to kill time in the mall but now I'm driving away from it.

I drive and phone to Anat. Busy. Still busy..
Oh, here she answers: No, she's not ready yet. Be in 10 minutes.
But I've reached the place in meanwhile. What shall I do? I won't just sit in the car. I'll go to take my visiting cards.

I'm 2 minutes to the place, and Anat is calling. She says that I have to take her back immediately. She forgot to tell me that she arranged with her friends to go to the library, and they are awaiting for her there.

.

Well. I succeded today to do a lot... of driving.

There are success trainers that say that for each bad thing that occur to you, you have to find at least 2 good thoughts. And this will ammend the situation.

So then, Even though I didn't manage too good my time, 1 - it could be worse, 2 -it could be much worse.

After a while, doubts begin to creep into my mind spoiling the beautiful image of fulfilled mantra and eat the last of calmness. It doen't sound as 2 positive
thoughts. Let's take something other: 1 -It's good weather, 2 - It's rather cool.

And reflecting on those joly thoughts, I open Air Conditioner even more and drive home.
