What will happen if everybody will save and shave on costs?

The economic crunch inflicts everybody. So people try to buy less. And they surely will not buy the same product for more money.

So what do companies do, when their cost grows (because their subcontractors don't see anything negative in asking more money for the same subporoduct) but they don't want to change the price label?

Hm, let me think.. it's a so difficult question!

Usually while I think, I like my spectacles clear (yes, yes, I know. It sounds funny, but you know how it goes: when you don't find an answer, you raise your head up and look for any hint there. So if you are inside, you see the ceiling. That's why I like my spectacles clean - maybe I'll see there something..)

Sorry, that I took you that long way through the sentence, but sometimes, when my spectacles are not clean, my vision isn't bright, I cannot see (and thus show) the shortest root.

Okey, now I stop it. Where is tissue paper? Ah, there.

I take one out, clean my spectacles, wash the tissue, iron it and try to insert it back into the pack, when I notice: Sorry, in order not to make this sentence too long and too unreadable, I'll parse it. So about what I noticed, read below..

I noticed, that on tissue box is writen : 28 very clean unused tissues.

Is it not strange? Just 28? I remember the last week it was 30. So, what happened to those 2 rebellious papers that somebody decided to throw away?

The answer was just under the first line. I saw it really by accident, when spilled some coffee on the box. Then the letters became visible and I could read: "Due to unprecedented raise in paper price, we decided to lessen number of tissues instead of rising the price. Enjoy you nose-blowing, but don't wake your neighbours!"

Hm. Ow! Here was the answer to my unanswered till now question about… Oh, go and read paragraph 2.

Sorry, sorry. I didn't shout on you. It just that I have finger-ache to retype the question. So, did you read the question? And did you understand the answer?

Sorry. Sorry. I didn't mean to say that you are slow in understanding.

No, no. I don't laugh. It's just that I want to cough and it looks like laughing. So I'll cough for a while now. Don't leave…

Okey then, here we are: I've seen 28 papers box and understood what companies do to sell the much more expensive product for the same price - they shave (take out) 2 papers.

I went to check in morning newspaper, and sure as sun, there were 2 pages less. I didn't like though that they took pages 1 and 2, but what a heck. Who needs news? I can check them on TV.

Yeh. TV. Did you try to see CNN without those 2 lines down there where they type all the news? They took them off. Just like this.

So I decided to go to mall to see if I could find there some news. But I couldn't find any taxi, because all cars stopped driving - sure, driving with 2 less wheels is very hard.

Suddenly some very long vehicle passed near me. Looking after it, I saw signs of Qantas, Australian airline, and then understood that the plane without 2 wings was on his way to Sidney.

When I came to the mall, I saw that it looks strange. After some counting, I understood that the 3-story building was shorter by 2.

Inside, people were frantic' not finding shops that were on the 2nd and 3rd floor.

I saw a mother running and shouting that she lost her twins.

Another man sadly sat on the stool in the middle of the mall and asked if somebody would take him home. I stopped near him and asked why. His explanation was short: "Because I have no more home. They just decided to shave and save costs of 2 states, so they went for Carolinas and deleted them from USA. Please take me to your home."

I wanted to laugh, but matters went more and more crazy when 2 entrances were deleted from the first floor of the mall.

I decided to return home. But on my way there, I found that somebody decided to economize on my 2 only legs and so had to crawl home.

Which was not there, together with another near it. They both were deleted.

I wanted to faint, but couldn't close my eyes because couldn't find eyelids.

I felt my last 2 years dripping from me…..

-Jack! Will you sleep at home, please! Have you something to say on our problem?

-Yes. Reduce the amount as much as you wish, but leave me alone!

-What happened, Jack? Bad dream?

-Nope. I just saw where we are going.
