I once knew a man who
Out-loped the ante-lope, The outer-lope,
The inner-lope, The inter-lope, The intra-lope, the
Posi-lope, and the negi-lope, until he transcended, and
Became an extra-lope! He was so inverted, that he became
Alerted, But he could not be averted, and he slid up a negative
Slope. He ended up backward on a hyperbolic curve, While trying to
Descend back down gently to Earth, So he parachuted upside down with
His parabolic girth. Determined, he was all painted up with his heliotropic mirth.
He failed to make the turn, And instead started to burn, becoming Kepler's first elliptical
Curve, flying too close to the sun, Where equal Time sweeps out equal area, As he would soon learn.
Now his comet cometh accelerating as it comes, leaning outward away from the inward sun, till his long tail
Set many people on fire, starving to death all the fine young cannibals, their ravenous daughters, and their hungry sons!
