Hi!  My name's Kata Danae!  Remember me??  I'm the one who wants to be a country singer when I grow up!

I'm sittin' here at Dr. Greenroy's office.  I have a checkup.  It's not because I'm sick; mama and daddy want to make sure I don't get sick.  I hope I don't have to get a shot today; I hate shots!!

I got a lot of nice things from Santa Claus for Christmas.  Yup, he was good to me!  I got some new dollies, some pretties for my hair, some new music, and tickets to see Loretta Lynn (she's comin' to Dallas this month).  I have never seen Loretta sing before; this is going to be soooo much fun!!  I'm very excited!!

I also got some new clothes, new shoes, new underwear, and even some money from my meemaw and pawpaw, who live in Greenville, Texas.  That was nice of them!

We are still singin' every weekend; we mostly sing at church.  We may be singing at the Grapevine Opry soon; that hasn't been decided yet, as to when that will be.  Mama and daddy are still workin' on getting it done.  I hope to sing at the Opry; then I will really feel like a star!!

Well, Dr. Greenroy's nurse just told me it was my turn to go see him, so I must go now.  I will write in here again soon; sorry it is so short!  Take care, and see you soon; this is Kata Danae Fishugh saying bye-bye for now!
