Dear Journal~

Rat-Man here.  Actually Rat-Nose, but some people do call me the Rat-Man!  LOL  Sorry for not writing; been busy.  Hope you understand.

Still haven't found any gainful employment; economy is crappy everywhere.  It really sucks; I want to work, but all they're hiring are illegals or people with experience.  Oh, they hire teens, but then they see me, and it's like they don't want to have anything to do with me. 

Is it because of my face?  Am I that ugly??

It really bites!  All I want to do is try to help my family during this lean economic pinch, and they don't even want to give me the time of day.  Well, screw 'em; I don't want to give 'em the time of day either!!

People can be such jerks at times!

Christmas was good, but it came and was over way too fast.  That's the thing about Christmas:  there's this huge build up starting after Hallowe'en, and then it's right on your doorstep, and then:  it's over, and all you're left with is an empty feeling; you end up feeling worse than year-old fruitcake!  I hate it!

I did manage to get a lot of serious skateboarding in, so that was good.  I also got an mp3 player (my big gift), several DVD's with blue-ray technology, a new tv with HD capabilities (my other big gift!), some green, clothes, some gift certificates for Appleby's, Cotton Patch Cafe, Golden Corral, Olive Garden, and Bob Evans, some gift certificates for Half-Price Books and Barnes&Noble Booksellers, and some new tennis shoes (my old tennies were beyond the point of rescue, according to the parental units).

I had a very good Christmas, as you can see:  I made out like a bandit! :)

The weather here in Texas has been worse than an indecisive Democrat:  flip, flop, flip flop.  One day, it's gorgeous, blue-sunny, warm out; the next, it's in the thirties with sleet and ice!  It's crazy!!  And when that ice hits, people don't know how to drive on it:  they think they can go speeding down the highway; when they hit that patch of ice, it's like *car noises here*  EEEEEEEEEEEERRRK!!  Car wreck!!  It's nuts!!  LOL 

I'll be glad when this cold shi** goes away; I'm more than ready for short-and-t-shirt weather!!  I hate cold weather!!  I'd much rather be hot than cold!  That way, if I get too hot, I can, at least, go swimming!  Or to the water park to cool off!!

Well, I gotta run.  Time to eat some brekky, then get ready for school.  Hope it's not another day of boring lectures; I don't think I can take too much more of that stupid Mr. Hoskins' monotone voice echoing through my ears!!  Take care, and may God bless you; I will write in here again!  I promise!
