Howdy!  How are you?  Hope this finds you well!

It's me, Glory!  Glory Hallelujah Jenkins.  I'm now twelve years old; I live with my family (my mama and papa, my younger brothers Peter Mathias [9] and Abraham Jacob [7], and my sisters, my older sister Promise Michaela [16] and younger sister, Patience Elizabeth [5]) in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

We go to church on Wednesdays and Sundays; we go to Greater Vision Pentecostal Church.  We also go there on Thursdays, for choir practice, and on Tuesdays for Bible study.  Church is, as you can see, a very big part of our lives, especially during times of revival.

This year, we're having the McKameys perform at our revival; I have never seen them, but I have always loved their music.  Oh, I've seen 'em on television, just never in person.  Now I will get that chance; I bet they're wonderful in concert!

Our upcoming revival is in April, one week before Easter.  They expect a big turnout; seems that revival always brings more visitors to our church.

I am still being homeschooled, as are my brothers and sisters.  Peter is having some difficulty in his reading comprehension; there's talk he may have to have extra help.  I hope not; he's very embarrassed about it.  I will have to say some special prayers for him, to ask God to help him with his reading.  The rest of us are doing great, even little Patience; at five, she's as smart as a whip!

My cousin, Tabitha Moyens, who lives in Nashville, has invited me to come to her church; she goes to Christ Community Assembly of God Church.  I've only been there once; it's a huge church.  Something like 1,000 + people go there; we went there once to see the Kevin Spencer Family.  That was several years ago.  I hope to go there, I really like it.  It's full of the Lord's presence; the Holy Spirit is very evident during the services, and the preaching is dynamic, meaningful, powerful!

Tabby says that in a few weeks, the Gaither Vocal Band is due to perform in concert; she really likes them.  (I personally think she only likes the one guy who has long, silver hair; she has the hots for him.  His name's Gary, I think.)  She said she'd like for me to go with her.  I will have to ask mama, to see if that's okay with her.

Anyway, our church has had some big name gospel talent appear there:  the McKameys (I didn't get to go the last time they were here; I was visiting the sick that day), the Kevin Spencer Family, the Easters, Tanya Goodman Sykes, the McGruders, Greater Vision, Brian Free and Blessed Assurance, and Ivan Parker, to name a few.  They have gospel concerts on a regular basis, at least several a year.

Most of the time that's during special events or during revivals.

Well, I am going to run along now.  It's time for my history lesson.  Mama said I could write in here during my break; now it's time to get back to the books.  *Sighh*  Seems my learning is never done!  Take care, and may God bless you mightily; I will try to write in here on a more regular basis.  It's been over a year since I last wrote; shame on me!!
