A little dog with a giant personality shares her story.

My name's Abbigail.  I'm a little Dog, but a Dog with a big Personality (according to my humans).  I'm a Schnauzer; yep, that's what I am!

I am black and white; I have little ears that stick straight up, and I have bright, dark-brown eyes that don't miss a trick.  Whether chasing the Cats Flopsy, Mopsy, and Tug (they're Kittens), or chasing the Little Humans, playing Fetch and other Doggie Games with the Big Humans, or lying on my favorite Blanket, I'm all "Ears" (get it??).  I am a very active, happy little Dog.

I am only ten months old.  I'm a Baby, but I happen to be very smart!  I can come when my Name is called, I can play Fetch, I can shake "hands", I can give high fives, and I can pray.  I also can salute.  My Human Daddy and Mommy both taught me how to do that; they love it whenever I perform for them.  Nothing makes them happiest!

I have a Cousin, another Schnauzer-Dog named "Schultzie"; sometimes his Humans bring him over, and I usually have a barkeliciously wonderful time!  He and I love to chase the Kittens, play with the Humans, and see what kind of mischief we can get into, like spilling the contents of the Kittens' litter box all over the floor, rootin' around in the trash, hopin' to find a snack, or rolling around in the mud after we've had a bath.  Ah, yes, those are wonderful times!

The Humans, however, don't see it as fun.  They see it as getting into trouble; then they yell at us, and it hurts our little Doggie Ears!

Another thing we love to do is run around in the yard, have races, see who's the fastest.  I'm the younger one, so I usually beat "Schultzie".  By the time he reaches the spot where I am at, he's wheezing like an old gran-pa Doggie; it's funny to watch him!  I always laugh at him whenever he wheezes!

Well, I am going to run; have to check on my pee-mail; 'bout that time.  So before I have an accident, I'd best alert my Mistress Human that I gotta go!  Bye for now!  Arf!!

~Abbigail the Miniature Schnauzer.  :)

Abbigail, when Schultzie put a year or two (7 or 14 dog years) you won't be so sure you can beat him...so watch out girl! ! !
