I don't know what I'd do without my precious little Princess!
I have a beautiful golden-red Pomeranian named "Princess". She is the joy of my life, what keeps me going, even when my own life is falling apart around me. I've had her now for six years, and she's the best thing that's ever come my way!
"Princess" was given to me by a friend who breeds Pomeranians. I couldn't afford to get one myself, so she stepped up to the plate, and personally hand-picked an especially lively, friendly puppy I promptly named "Princess".
That was six years ago. She's now almost seven years old, fairly old by dog standards; however, she still has a lot of zest in her step, and a fun-loving, happy personality I find endearing.
"Princess" goes everywhere with me: to the store, to my doctor's appointments, to my therapy sessions, to visit friends, family. She is my right-hand "man", and I can't imagine not having her in my life.
As far as caring for her goes, she is very easy. All I do is let her out when she has to do her thing, take her for walks twice a day, make sure she eats a balanced meal, as well as get plenty of fresh water to drink. When she becomes sick, I take her to the vet; if I get sick, my friends opt to care for her, especially if I end up in the hospital.
Children just love her to pieces. With her happy, foxlike features, huge, dark eyes, long, flowing orange-red fur, perky ears that sit atop her small, roundish head, and long, flowing plume of a tail curled up over her little back, she is highly irresistable. She looks like she is laughing; she barks, but only when she feels it is necessary (like if someone is creeping outside, or if I get sick; otherwise, she remains quiet and calm).
I wish everyone could have a "Princess" in their lives; she's certainly kept me young, and she is the very reason why I'm still alive now, even with my bad heart and other health problems!
