Howdy!  It's me, Leslie Michaeyla Babineaux, from Crockett, Texas!  Hope y'all don't mind me writin' in here again!

As I said before, in my first journal entry, I'm nine.  I live in Texas with my mama, daddy, and my two younger sisters (Rachel, four, and Evonne, six).  I'm in the third grade; I go to Crockett Elementary School.

I want to be a country singer when I grow up.  I absolutely love to sing!!  My very favorite singer is Loretta Lynn; I also love Tony Booth and the Cajun group "BeauSoleil" (love Cajun music, too!).  I have gone to some Opry shows here, but haven't sung at any (yet, but am hoping to!). 

Some of the things I love doing include reading, playing card games (Spit and Crazy Eights are my favorites), drawing, writing, going to Opry shows, and going to Louisiana a few times a year to see my aunt, uncle, and cousins. 

My best friend is probably my cousin Shelbi.  She's six, younger than me, but she's cool.  She's disabled, but that's never stopped her from doing what she wants to in life!  She's really something else!  I just love her so much!!

At school, my best friend is Wren.  Wren Garcia.  She's fun to be with; she's a very good dancer and singer!  She's won awards for her talents; I'm kinda jealous!  I'm nowhere near as talented as Wren is!!

Well, this isn't much, but I have to get up, get ready for school, eat breakfast, take a bath, wash my hair before I do that.  I will write in here again; sorry this isn't much of a journal; I'm new at this journal thing!  It's harder than it looks!  :P
