Sage McDermott continues to have problems, much to her dismay.

Sage McDermott here.

I wish I could say I'm doing better; however, that doesn't seem to be the case.  Things continue to unravel.

About a month ago, I lost my best friend, Alysa Ketch, to a drunk driver.  I saw it happen; the durn guy just drove off, leaving her to die in the street!  And what's worse, he's still at large as of this writing!

I'm also dealing with some of the kids I used to hang out with, the kids who tried to get me interested in joining their coven/gang.  They keep harrassin' me, telling me that they are going to get me, my family, while I am sleeping.  I've been terrified ever since.

I can't eat, can't sleep, can't concentrate.  My schoolwork has started to suffer; it's all I can do to keep from throwing up again!  Just the thought of food nauseates me!

It's like the devil is attacking me; ever since I became Christian, it's like he's not letting me have a break.  I wish he'd leave me the heck alone; I have Jesus; I don't need all this heartache in my life!!

I thought when I became a Christian I wouldn't have any problems; I have found out otherwise!

I've tried to talk to my aunt Reba about this; she's too busy working.  And my uncle, he just blows it off, says I'm overreacting; he doesn't want to hear me complainin' all the time!

So what do I do?  I don't have anyone to talk to, and I don't know what to do!  I've tried praying to God; it's like He's put me on hold because I'm not getting any answers!  Everything's just like it was!

Just keep me in your prayers; I really could use a lot of help here!  I'd appreciate it!  Thanks for listening!

~Love, your friend, Sagie.  :( >tears!<

Gang's harassment can, and very likely will, escalate until tragedy occurs. Better go to a sympathetic cop that can straight that indifferent uncle into taking interest before he got a tragedy and start asking himself what if...

Karen,

When we become Christians, it's not going to be all roses ... thorns pop up at the most unexpected times. Sage just needs to be strong, keep trusting in the One Who can help her. Well done.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Sounds like some typical teenage problems and angsts that if not guided through with an adult could end up causing problems...religions easy answers are not always enough.

Well done. Someone said here in a review "When the devil comes a knocking, ask Jesus to answer the door." I just love that and this story is not far fetched at all, unfortunately. Blessings and hugs, J'nia

Karen a Pastor I talked to once, said that the stronger the Christian, the stronger the attack, perhaps Satan thinks he can beat Christ, but we all know how that goes
