Dear Journal~
Bill here. Sorry if I haven't written in here since the 26th of last month; been busy working, taking care of the troops. You know how that goes.
Such as the case now. I am currently sitting here, feeding two of our children, Jodie and Todd, who are fed by tubes in their bellies. All I do is get their stuff, hook it to their tubes, and let gravity do its work after I hang the bags to the IV poles.
The other kids are in their rooms or in the living room. Louie is with the younger kids, getting them ready for bed.
I am happy to say that none of the children got my cold. That has been a constant worry of mine; If there's one thing I don't need it's a houseful of sick kids! I've been praying for God to keep them healthy; so far He's listened. I'm so glad He has! :)
Work has been a lot better since I'm not doing store greeter any more. I don't have to worry about people knocking me over or putting up with rude, irate customers who think they know more than I do. I can sit down too; the only time I get up is to go for my breaks or come to/from work. LOL So much easier on my body, especially when the weather's bad!
We have been busy practicing for our upcoming Easter Cantata at our church, which is in a few weeks. So far everything seems to be going well; I pray this continues!
The weather here is nice; however come tomorrow that will change. Expected to get rain by tomorrow afternoon or evening; it's then supposed to get sharply colder, with temps in the 30's; we may even get some snow in the forecast. Guess winter time isn't over just yet; after all it's only the 11th of March! Winter is still officially here; not quite spring just yet!
Poor Louie has had a bad case of spring fever. She is sick and tired of the winter conditions. The recent warm weather will soon be a fading memory in a day or two, as winter returns.
She's enjoyed piddling around with her flowers; she loves being outside at any chance she gets.
Well, I am going to go; the feeding's just about over. Have to take care of that, then put Jodie and Todd to bed for the night, as they have school tomorrow; they need to get their sleep. I will write in here again soon; until then, this is Bill signing off! Take care and God bless!
