Dear Journal~

Howdy!  Ronee' here!  I am sorry you haven't heard from me; I have been very busy.  Between school, homework assignments, church functions/practicing for our upcoming Easter Cantata, and practicing my music/singing, I just haven't had the time to do hardly nothin'!!  I hope you understand.

Healthwise, I'm doing great.  Oh, I tried to flare about a week or so ago, but I didn't, thank goodness.  I prayed to God to keep me from getting sick.  He did.  I only had pain for about two days; then I was a-okay!  :)

Unfortunately, my brother, Johnathon, hasn't had an easy time of it lately.  He was in the hospital just about a month ago; he had congestive heart failure; it's left him very weak.  Oh, he's over the heart failure now, but it's going to take him a while to get over it.  It was only by a miracle that he's doing better; I credit the Lord for bringing him through it.

We have been lifting him up in prayer; I think this is why he's doing so good right now.  :)  Jesus is healing him, as only He can.  Hopefully he'll be good as new by the time the Cantata rolls around!  :)

Oh, guess what!  I saw the Gaither Vocal Band over this past weekend at our church; they did a great job!  I really love them, especially Gary Penrod, the guy with the long, grey hair; he's rather easy on the eyes!  :)  And so very nice; when I tried to talk to him, all I could do was sputter like an idiot!  I was sooo nervous upon meeting him!

I'm taking a ten week course at church, "Cleansing Stream".  We will have four classes, then a retreat (two days), then one more class afterwards.  I went last fall, and it was really an eye-opening experience!  I got delivered of a lot of junk; I've been feeling better now than have been for a long time!  I'm a lot happier now; I feel the Lord is only going to use me in ways that I could not even believe!

Our first class was tonight.  It was interesting.  I will be learning how to walk fully in the spirit and know how to battle the enemy (Satan) when he tries to derail me from reaching my full potential as a Christian.  We will also have some Bible reading and some homework to do in the workbooks they provided. 

After the fourth class we will have our retreat; then one more afterwards, which will be more of a celebration/praise report.  Then it will be all over.

Some people in the class have gone through it more than once; this is my second time.  The homework won't be so much of a problem for me as those who've never done it.  And the retreat will be something to look forward to; I now know what to expect out of it.  And who knows what God will do then??  Time will only tell!  :)

Well, I am going to go to bed; I want to read the Bible and pray before I close my eyes.  I want to end my day on a good note.  I have school tomorrow, besides; have school until Thursday.  I'm then off Friday and the Monday after Easter.
