This is your friend, Arturo Jiminez, writing.  Figured it was time to let y'all know what's been shakin' with me, so I write.

I have my bad days, as well as the good; lately, though, it seems the bad days outnumber the good.  The economy's the schi*s, I'm still gettin' harassed at school by the stupid gringo kids, my family's drivin' me insane, I've got a ton of homework to do before next week, and I'm still missin' my abuela bad!

I'm happy to say I'm over the suspension I was on for beatin' up a kid after he called me "Beaner" once too many times; however, I'm not sorry for doing it.  The jerkface had it coming to him; he deserved it!  (And more!)  I know eventually I will have to apologize, but right now is not the right time to do it!

Right now we're getting ready for Easter.  Church plans to be a big blowout (Easter always is, that and Christmas are the two biggest days of the year at church), and my little siblings are thinking of chocolate bunnies and chickens to eat.  I'm thinking of candied yams, baked ham dripping with honey sauce, and perhaps tortillas on the side.  Yum!!  I love Easter!!

On Monday we start our week-long break for the Easter holiday; I can't wait!  That way, I can sleep in, and I don't have to put up with the estupido kids at school!

I am looking forward to May:  that's only one month away!  (Hey, I'm a poet, but I don't know it, my feet show it, 'cause I'm Longfellow!  Ha, ha!  Poetry humor!  LOL)  That's my birthday:  I'll be seventeen!  Practically an adult, folks!  I hope I get that IPod I want; that'd be coolness!

I'm also lookin' forward to summer:  nothin' better to do but to kick back and laze around; yeah, I can get used to summertime!  I plan on having a great summer; it's just too bad that mi abuela ain't here to share in it!  I just lost her a few months back, and our family's been muy triste ever since!

Well, I gotta run.  Time to get ready for prison (SCHOOL!!); I will write in here again!  Until later, this is your amigo, Arturo Jiminez, sayin' Adios!  Hasta luego!
