Dear Journal~

Howdy!  T'is me, the Rat, aka Rat-Nose!  Just woke up not even fifteen minutes ago; thought I'd write in here before going downstairs to say good morning to the parental units!  (Okay, okay, afternoon.  So sue me!  LOL)

I am now on Easter break from school; go back next week (next Friday).  I am so glad; school has been nothing but a big hassle!  We had our TAKS test a few weeks back; passed that; now we face the math portion on Friday.  Hope I don't fail; math has never been one of my stronger subjects!  I don't know what I'd do if I'd flunk it!  YARGGG!!

I do know this:  ma and pa, they'd probably ship me to China! 

And then I'd have to learn Chinese and become a monk!

Ma and pa, they've always been after me to try to pull up my grades.  I'm trying, but school is a pain!  They give out waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much homework; it's no wonder I'm hardly around!  People must think I died because they hardly see me out!  (I'm usually holed up in my lair, doing my homework; sometimes I work on it for more than five hours a night!)

In addition to dealing with school, I have to put up with working at that Chinese restaurant and coming home, smelling like the world's biggest bowl of won ton soup or plate of lo mein or bok choy, and dealing with my stupid older sister, Gloria, who thinks she can act like my mom and boss me around.  Well, I have news for her; she's nothing but a big pain in my tukus!!

She can kiss my a** as far as I'm concerned!!  I will be sooo glad when she goes to college in the fall; fall can't come soon enough, in my opinion!!

This is when I wish I had a little (or older) brother to pal around with; girls don't know a thing about what it's like to be a guy!!

The weather isn't helping any:  allergy city.  The allergens are out in full force; some days it's all I can do to keep from sneezing or utilizing my inhaler because it's so hard to breathe.  Spring time is the worst for my asthma and allergies!!  Oh, the green leaves on the trees, the sight of the green grass, and the pretty flowers/plants are nice to look at, but they are murder on my allergies!!

In a few weeks, the cottonwood will be out in full force; that's the absolute WORST thing; when I get around cottonwood, my throat closes up, I sneeze a million times in only a few minutes, and I can't breathe:  I'm gasping and hacking up so bad it's a wonder I don't bring up a MOOSE when I cough and sneeze!! 

My allergies to cottonwood is so bad, I have to get shots; I get my first injection in a week; I will then get them every week as long as the cottonwood is out.  It's an annual ritual with me.

And I HATE it!!!!

On Sunday we go to church for Easter celebration services.  I'm looking forward to it, but only as long as Gloria doesn't act like the goon she usually is!  Gloria the Goon.  Yes, that's my oldest sister!  I just love her so much--NOT!!  (I do really love her, but I wish she'd stop hassling me or treating me like a snot-nosed tot!!)

After church, we'll probably go to the Golden Corral and eat out.  Good; I can use some decent food!  I'm so sick of Chinese food or balogna I can just spit nails!!

Well, I am going to get something to eat, then say good afternoon (morning in my case, seeing I just started my day!  LOL) to my family, and then decide what to do.  Maybe I'll go see my friends; I'm off today from work.  I'm also off Sunday.  Yeah, that sounds like a good plan of action!
