Dear Journal~

I don't know when I've been so tired!!  Wow!!

We got through our Easter/Resurrection Sunday Cantata with little difficulty; it was only by a miracle that we did!  No "unexpected surprises", no (serious) errors:  everything went as smooth as silk!

My throat is a little sore; it's only because I practiced for a million years, and plus I sang; I think that's excuse for my throat feelin' like I'd been crawlin' 'round in the desert!  Guess I get to suck on cough drops all day....

I pray and hope the people who came to the Cantata performances got a lot out of the message we were trying to convey.  I was a kid who'd taken drugs, and I ended up going to hell, but I wanted to show people what drugs could do if you use them and the consequences thereof.  I hope I got the point across!

Quite a few people came down after services, when they had the altar call; I was very pleased.  I guess we did something right! :) 

We go back to school tomorrow.  We had a great Easter break; however, a lot of it was spent rehearsing for the Cantata, so I really didn't have a lot of free time.  Today, however, I plan on sleeping in until noon (or later), and just kickin' back! 

I saw Michael Stinkowitz, the kid who has a crush on me, at the Cantata.  He still wants to go on a date; maybe one day I'll say yes, but for now I'm too busy with things.  I hope he understands.  Between music/voice lessons, practicing, performing, going to school/doing homework, taking care of my younger brothers and sisters, I just don't have the free time. 

I feel bad for lettin' him on like this, but I have too much to do, and not enough time to do it in, ya know??

The family is doing good; and miracle of miracles, Naomi Cohen, Rebekkah's mom, is home from the hospital!! We saw her yesterday at church, and I nearly cried with happiness; it was soooo good to see her!!  She looked terrific!!

Kendra Kent and her family are well, too, and so is Susie Callaway!  I heard from her the other day, and she has a boyfriend and seems to be happy.  I pray she is; she really needs it; she's had a bad time of it lately!!  I will have to continue to keep her in my prayers!

In a few weeks, in May (next month), we will be going to Louisiana, to the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival.  I am performing there again, and so is Johnny; we will have to think of some songs to do there and then get practicin' on 'em, make sure we're ready by the time the festival rolls around!

I can't wait; I absolutely love the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival!!!!

Then in June, we have the CMA Music Festival/Fan Fair event; afterwards, the Cajun French Music Association's LeCajun Cajun Music Awards Show and Festival (now ain't that a mouthful!?!? LOL); that's in August.  We also will probably be performing at the city's annual Fourth of July event.

Looks like we have a full plate this summer.  *sigghhhhh*  So much for summer vacation from school!  (What summer vacation??  We'll be working!!)

I don't mind the performing/singing in front of people, but dang, I'd love to have more days where I can be a fat lazy slug and do nothing!!!!!

Well, I am going back to sleep now.  Gettin' stupid, very sleepy all of a sudden.  I will write in here again soon; until then this is the Ronster signin' outta here!  Hope you had as good of an Easter/Resurrection Sunday as we did, if not more so!  Take care, and may God bless y'all always!
