Dear Journal~

Ronee' here.  I know I just wrote a few days ago, but I can't help it:  I had to write in here to share the good news!

Remember that audition I mentioned in my last journal entry?  Well, I made it!!  I was accepted!  I now have a chance to appear on the fourth season of "America's Got Talent"!!  I sang and played my accordion, and the judges liked how I sang/played!  They said I had potential to become a bona fide star!!

That means in June, I will go to Hollywood, for a chance to make it to the semi finals in Las Vegas!  So now I have "America's Got Talent" staring at me right in the face!  Whee!!

I know I shouldn't be so excited about a talent contest, but maybe this is the big break I've been hoping for so long!!  I'd love to be as well known as Loretta Lynn, or perhaps, work towards joining the Grand Ole Opry!  That'd be a huge dream come true for me!!

God's given me this talent of singing or playing music, and I think I could be a great witess to those who don't know Jesus as their personal Saviour!  If I can't tell 'em about Jesus by talking, maybe I can do it through my music or perhaps by sharing my testimony!!

I want to be a positive role model to kids or teens, especially those who are struggling with health problems or disabilities.  I would tell them that if I can get through what I've had to go through in life, then by God, then they can, too!

 I want them to have a sense of feeling good about themselves, and that they can do anything they set their minds to; their disabilities or illnesses shouldn't stop them from reaching their dreams!

Well, I am going to e-mail my friends and tell them the good news!  I am sooo excited I am about to bust!!
