Dear Journal~

Howdy!  Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux here!  Hope this finds y'all great; I am doing super!  Tired, but happy!

We had a blast yesterday:  our performance at the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival went better than expected:  when Johnny came out, the crowd went nuts, especially when he sang "Jole' Blon'" (in FRENCH).  Even having a trache tube in his throat hasn't stopped him from singing or talking; he's absolutely amazing!  I did well, too, but Johnny killed 'em!  :)

We were on stage for forty five minutes, right between Hunter Hayes and Belton Richard.  Nice place to be in, hunh??  :)  Now we can rest until June (next month), for when we go to the CMA Music Festival, then my tryout for a spot in the show "America's Got Talent".  Then we have the Fourh of July BLAST! in our home city of Nashville.

No rest for the weary, as they say!  :)

Well, today is Mom's Day.  That means we get to spoil mom rotten while we kids slave over her chores.  KIDDING!  LOL  We gave her her cards and flowers; of course, we also showered her with extra hugs and kisses.  Mom reacted predictably:  she cried.  It was wonderful:  mom is such a soft heart!

Always has been, always will be.  :)

We plan on taking mom to church this morning, where the moms will probably be recognized, and given a little gift or flowers; of course, she will melt all over again.  She just loves getting gifts!  Then we will take her to lunch, before going to the park for the afternoon.  It sounds like a nice way to spend the day.  :)

The weather here has been good:  rain north of us, and had some rain on the way to Louisiana, but none during the festival.  The festival is still going on today, but we probably won't be going:  too busy doing things with mom, ya know??  She's more important than some dumb festival!

I know this is short, but I have to take a shower, do my hair, get ready for church/lunch, and then go to the park.  I will write in here again, probably duirng the CMA Fest or perhaps when I'm at the AGT tryouts.  Or maybe sooner if something develops; in any event, you'll hear from me again soon.  Until then, this is Ronee' signin' outta here!  God bless and take care!  Loves ya!
