Milton here. Milton Eddeston, the kid formerly known as "Pig-Boy". Thought I'd let you know what's been going on in my life.
I am doing fairly okay. School is about to drive me crazy; I'm failing several of my classes, and my parents aren't very pleased with me. I hate school; I am more than ready for it to end in a few weeks!
Summer vacation can't come soon enough, as far as I'm concerned!
I'm also angry at God: my cousin, Travis Whitenauer, who is six, is in the hospital again. Travis has serious special needs: he's more like a baby than a six-year-old boy (he can't walk, talk, even feed himself or go to the bathroom on his own). He's in the hospital because he choked, developed pneumonia. He is in the ICU unit; doctors don't hold out much hope for him.
Travis has some sort of syndrome; I don't like being around him because he makes me uncomfortable. I then get angry at God because I think He's being unfair: why punish an innocent child like that? Is it because of some unrepented sin on the parents part? I just don't understand God sometimes...
We are doing well, better than Travis. People are still interested in buying our pigs, and it's nice to have a little extra cash flow coming in whenever we make a sale or slaughter one of the pigs ready to be killed. I hope this continues; with the economy being sso bad now, we can use all the money we can possibly get!!
The weather here is nice: warm temps, cool nights, and the crops are starting to come up. I can't wait until August, when our county fair starts up again; maybe I can win "Best of Show" at the pig sales! Or maybe I can grow a pumpkin weighing over 200 pounds and win that! That'd be cool!
I am just about done serving my community time. I had to do this after I pushed Roy after he'd called me "Pig-Boy" once too often. I know now that violence isn't the answer; however, he'd gotten on my nerves, and I reacted inappropriately. He's just about recovered, but now I see him, and I get very uneasy. I know he hates my guts: he sees me, and all he does is give me horrible looks.
I don't blame him one bit. I hate my guts too. I'm a terrible person!
Well, I am going to go: soon to switch classes; I have English next, then lunch. Lunch can't come soon enough; I'm starving! I will write in here again soon, with news on Travis, amongst other things. Until later this is Milton Eddeston saying so long for now!
~Milton Eddeston (no more "Pig Boy"; it's just Milton from now on!).
