Bill Sandusky writing.  Hope this finds y'all well; I am sorry for not writing since May 4; as a family man, you know how that goes.  LOLOLOL  Plus I work, so that means even more time constrained.

We are doing fantastic; nothing to complain about.  My dear Louisiana and father-in-law (Armand) have already left the house; they are going to spend a good part of the day visiting veterans at the local veteran's hospital, bringing them a little cheer, and letting them know that they remember, haven't forgotten them.

The kids, meanwhile, continue to slumber away in their beds.  The house is nice and quiet; even the animals are sleeping.  Well, excepting for Ricochet and Cajun, two of the cats:  they are playing, entertaining themselves.

Something has gotten Cajun's attention:  her head is pogoing up and down, and she has a goofy expression on her face.  It's too funny; I can't help but to smile at her!  Wonder what she sees?  Oh, it's a little spider crawling up the wall.  Mmm!  Breakfast!   LOLOLOL  Mr. Spider had better hide, or it will end up as kitty food!  LOLOLOL

Cajun is five years old, a grown cat, but she still has a lot of kittenish ways about her.  Doesn't help that little Ricochet, who is just about a year, gives her plenty of ideas of how to act!  LOLOLOL

A few days ago, my wife was upset:  a lady in California chewed her out for trying to help.  The lady in question is the parent of two children (one, of whom, is severely disabled); it's obvious she isn't a believer in God.  She, more or less, told my wife if she contacts her one more time, she will have to call the police.  Sad that some people want to wallow in self pity or don't want help, even when they are struggling; I will have to pray for this woman!

Poor Louie was in tears, that's how bad it was!

This past weekend was our Cleansing Stream retreat at church; it was beyond awesome!  A lot of people got delivered of extra "junk in the trunk", and I am sure more than a few of them got healed.  There was a lot of wonderful praise and worship going on, and the air was thick with the Lord's presence; it was clear He was "in the house"!  We are still floatin' high from it; I can't help but to smile whenever I think of it!

Today at church, in the afternoon, we will be helping out with feeding our veterans; I am sure they will enjoy the food and fellowship.  And this morning, if the kids get up on time, is our city's annual Memorial Day parade.  Hopefully we will make it there.  If not, oh, well!  LOLOLOL

Seems that since the kids are out of school, they want to take every advantage of sleeping in as late as they can!

The weather here is hot, temps in the eighties, and a chance of pop up storms in the afternoon.  So far, no rain here, but it clouded up a few times, with a few rumbles of thunder, plus the occasional flash of lightning.  Maybe a few sprinkles, nothing more than that. 

In Arkansas, though, they've had a few tornadoes, including one in Friendship that caused some damage; I will have to keep those people in our prayers!

Hopefully no tornadoes will spin here; I bind that off of us, in Jesus' Name!  :)

Last week, our daughter, Ronee', had to be admitted overnight into the hospital (asthma attack); I'm glad to say she's all over it now.  It has been the first time in quite a while since she last had trouble with her asthma.  Now that she has some new medication, hopefully she won't have any more problems.  She was not a happy kitty, but at least she didn't fight, which is what usually happens when she has to go into the hospital!

We knew she was sick when she didn't argue with us. 

Johnny, meanwhile, has been scheduled to have a PICC line installed next week.  It will be a day surgery event; however, with the fragile state of his health, one has to be so careful; he may end up staying a day or two, just so's doctors can keep a close eye on him.  He is not looking forward to it.  I don't blame him one bit; however, something has got to be done; he's gotten so skinny it's not funny!

His clothes literally hang on him; he looks like a concentration camp survivor.  People have been really worried about him, us most of all!

This is when we hate his MD the most.  It's caused him (and us) nothing but heartache!  The past year has been especially brutal for him; it's a wonder he can still laugh or smile after all that he's had to endure!

Steffi is now having physical and occupational therapy as she continues to recover from her hip fracture.  She is walking again, but she's still pretty slow.  She will probably be so for a while; she really took a bad fall at school!

Yesterday she and her boyfriend, "Tank", went to the park; I am sure they will go back there again, as they enjoy the Memorial Day holiday with friends.

Heard from Anh:  he and Thu are busy trying to decide when they are going to get married.  They say it's sometime next year; they just don't know when yet; they can't find a day that would be most convenient for them.  Hopefully they'll reach a decision soon, so we can make plans to attend their wedding!

Lightning and Darnell have seemingly worked out their marital differences; life is good for them once again.  They called to tell us thank  you for the prayers; the prayers have really done wonders for their marriage.  So happy to hear that!  We were really concerned for them for a while!

Gemini has been practicing hard for her next gymnastics meet, which is next month here in Nashville; we don't doubt for a minute that she will do well in the event.  She has always been such a talented gymnast!  We are so proud of what she has already accomplished at the age of seventeen!

Barbara has a boyfriend:  a kid she met at college; his name is Evan Fontenot.  Sounds serious; they've been seeing one another for a few months now, and they are madly in love with one another.  I just hope they don't rush things; they need to enjoy their youth while they still can!

Well, gang, I hear activity from the kids' rooms, so I'd best go now.  Maybe we'll make it to that parade yet, in plenty of time!  Gotta get ready, make sure the kids do the same!  I also have to feed the beasts their breakfast, so I don't have a housefull of grumpies to contend with!  LOL  Take care, and may God bless you this Memorial Day!
