If you could only see how I am feeling right now, you wouldn't guess for a second just how excited I am at this time.

Well, it's because tomorrow night, I am seeing my first country show, and it's none other than my all time favorite singer, Loretta Lynn!  I have always loved her, and I remember dreaming when I was younger of seeing her; now I finally get that chance at age 11!!

My ma, she got tickets from work; she works for a ticket distribution outlet.  She is the one who processes the ticket orders from people when they go on sale; it keeps her very busy.  She got tickets for me, herself, daddy, and my big sister!  We're going to see Loretta Lynn as a family!

My name is Erin Leigh Hallam; I live in Provo, Utah, with my family (my ma, my daddy, and my sister, Hayleigh Rene', who is 13).  I have always loved country music, especially Loretta Lynn.  I first heard her sing when I was little, and I knew right away I wanted to see her in concert (but never did).

When I grow up, I want to be a singer, just like Loretta.  I know all of her songs by heart, and I have seen the movie "Coal Miner's Daughter" so much I can say just about the whole movie, line for line!  I have Loretta pictures plastered all over my bedroom walls, and I have just about all of her CD's!  Yeah, you would call me a mega-fan!!

Whenever our school has a talent show, they ask me to sing.  I sing Loretta Lynn songs; they call me "Loretta Lynn, Jr.", and they say I sing just like her.  I think that is so cool; I think she sings so pretty!  She sings just like a bird!

My friends have asked me to try out for "America's Got Talent"; I tell them I'm not THAT good yet.  Wait a few years; right now, if I were to try out, I'd either do one of two things:  pass out, or throw up!  :/

I am wearing my best cowgirl outfit when we go to see Loretta tomorrow night.  I also have my camera (and film) all ready, and I have my pen, not to mention, my autograph book!  Oh, this is gonna be sooo cool!!  I finally get to see my favorite singer in concert!!  And I canNOT wait!!

I will write in here again soon; I want to tell you all about my first country concert!  Pray I get to meet Loretta in person; that would be a huge dream come true !!
