Hello!  Ethan Price here; thought an update was in order.

My wife, Michelle, and I are happily raising our son, Jerome Seamus Michael, who is growing by leaps and bounds.  We adopted Jerome last year; he was born in Ireland.  He is our lucky little leperchaun; he brings us nothing but joy.

It is funny whenever people see Jerome in person because he looks so much like me (red hair, blue eyes, freckles); he could pass for my birth child!  People are always shocked when they find out that he is adopted; however, that shouldn't matter.  What does matter is the fact that he is our son, permanently and legally.  We don't see him as adopted.  He is ours.  Forever and ever.

Jerome is an extremely smart little guy.  At the age of seven, he can talk your ear off (he has a wordboard, as he can't speak, but that hasn't stopped him:  he has an opinion for everything!  LOL), and he is in the gifted/talented class at his school, even with having cerebral palsy!

Jerome does have special needs:  it's easy to see, easy not to miss the bright purple wheelchair he uses to get around; however, like his being adopted, his handicap should not matter.  He is a little boy with a disability, not a disabled little boy.  He has been working on learning to walk with a walker; it's a challenge, but at least he's happy to know that there is another way for him to get around.

In addition to Jerome, we are also busy raising our two daughters, Manuri Grace (India) and Rosemary Ling-Mei (China).  Like their brother, the girls are both adopted.  Both girls are heavily into softball:  just about every weekend, we can be found at one of their games, cheering them (and their team mates) on to victory.  They will be in grades four and six come September.

Well, I am due to leave for a bite of breakfast with some compadres of mine (we do this every Monday; it's a good chance for me to get out of the house for a few hours), so I will let you go.  I will write in here another time, with another update.  Until then, this is Ethan Price saying so long and God bless!
