Dear Journal~

Ingrid Schoenfeldter here.  Hope this finds you well; sorry for not writing; with my health being the way it is, one can't be too careful.  I hope you understand.

I still have my bad days; however, I am trying to be more positive on my outlook, learn to count the blessings that God's bestowed upon me.  It isn't easy, but as long as I learn to lean on God, then I shouldn't have anything to worry about.

The weather here in Norway is finally starting to warm up: trees, flowers are in bloom, really pretty to see.  Longer days, warmer temperatures; it's enough to where I can go without a jacket or winter gear; it feels nice upon my (sun-starved) pale skin!

It feels good on my body, too.  :)  I love lying on the towel in my backyard, trying to soak up some rays.  No, too much sun is bad for you, but I make sure I put on my sunscreen before I go out, so I don't get burned.  I am not stupid!  LOL

I heard from my cousin, who is on vacation in Turino, Italy.  She and her fiance', Guido, are getting some late-spring skiing there, while there's still snow upon the mountain tops.  She and Guido sent me a postcard.  It was nice to hear from them; I am glad they are having a good time there in Italy!

I wrote to Louie in America, Louie Sandusky, but she hasn't responded as of yet.  I hope she and her family are okay!  I will have to see if I can give them a call; I do have an international calling card that will save on the costs of calling out of country.

I will go for now; am getting ready to join Hjalmar and Lunt for a picnic at the park; it's such a beautiful day, we might as well take advantage of it.  I have been cooped up in the house for far too long (getting over the last dredges of a cold); time for me to get some fresh air!  I'm getting stale!  LOL  I will write in here again soon; let me grab my crutches, shut this down, and go!  Take care and have a good day!  Talk to you again!
