My name is Sunshine Lee Sandusky.  I am twelve years old; I'll be thirteen years old in a few weeks, just after the Fourth of July.  I will be in the seventh grade come fall; I can't wait!

I was adopted by my family when I was really small, something like around age one or so.  They're the only family I've really ever known.  I am the twin sister to Andre' Joseph, and we both have an older sister, Starlight Melody, who is now nineteen.  We were all born in Vietnam.

I am tall for my age:  I may be nearly thirteen; yet I could easily pass for sixteen or seventeen.  I'm taller than my mom, but not as tall as daddy:  daddy is well over 6 1/2' tall!!  He's nearly 7' tall!  He's huge!!

I am healthy; however, my older sister and my twin brother are not.  Andre' was born with spina bifida (he used to walk on crutches; he now uses a wheelchair to get around), and my sister Star has diabetes; she's had it since she was six.  She has to take shots twice a day and keep an eye on her blood sugar levels plus watch what she eats or else she could get very sick (or end up in the hospital).

I am a typical girl:  I love to talk on the phone, watch television (I love the old shows that were on in the eighties or earlier; my favorites are "Emergency!", "Mulligan's Stew", "Three's Company", "Star Search", "Alice", and "Mork And Mindy"; I also love "Happy Days"), dance, play mandolin in my family's Cajun/country/bluegrass/gospel band, travel, and buy cool looking clothes.  I also love hanging out with my friends and playing baseball or basketball, as well as swim.

People say I am very quiet.  Maybe I am, but that's okay.  That's just me.  Now, if you were to see me with my friends or with my family, then you'd think I was a real chatterbox; I talk all the time!   LOL  Sometimes people say I have a big mouth!  LOL

When I grow up I want to be either a teacher to kids with special needs or work at a zoo, help the animals that are injured or sick.  Or maybe even an actress or singer.  :)  (I have a lot of dreams!)

P.S.:  I put a piccy of the cast of "Mulligan's Stew" on my entry; I think that this kind of resembles our family.  And get this:  the littlest kid in the picture shares my name:  her name is Sunshine Lee, too!  (She's all grown up now; they all are.)  Isn't that cool??  I think so!
