Man, I'd never thought I'd get over this!  I was so nervous I thought I was going to throw up right on the stage!  (Thank God I didn't, but my stomach WAS full of butterflies!)

I am still at the Opry house as I write this.  Having so much fun meeting all of the singers, bands that are milling about backstage, getting in plenty of photo ops, collecting all the autographs I possibly can, until we head back to the hotel for the night.

I sang "Another Bridge To Burn" and "Kaw-liga" as my encore; seems the people like how I sang/played, so I got to do an extra song!  Talk about feelin' the love!!  I suddenly felt like Garth Brooks or somebody!  I was on top of the world!!

Once I got through singing my second song, the butterflies went away; now all I feel is relief, not to mention, sheer joy!  I have actually performed on stage of the Opry; I have made it in my career as a singer!  I am finally a star!!

Well, not exactly a "star", like in Garth Brooks, Jimmy Dickens, or Alan Jackson, but close enough!

The announcer of the Opry said that he is interested in having the local radio station play my newest single, "Grand Ole Opry Dreamin'", a song I'd written over 10 years ago, about my dream.  Funny it's taken that long for it to finally come true !

Maybe I'll have a number one hit or maybe a few awards tucked under my arm one of these years! I hope so; I'd give anything to be a star!!

Just keep me in your prayers; pray my good fortune continues!  I want to be a star, but I also want to have a level head and not become too biggity for my britches!
