Howdy!  Erin Leigh Hallam here; hope this finds y'all well!

I saw my favorite singer a little over a week ago; I'm still high from it!  I saw none other than the Coal Miner's Daughter herself, Loretta Lynn!  She put on the best show; she sang all of her hits, and she looked so pretty in a red ball gown; she looked like a princess!

She performed for about an hour; the entire time she was on stage, I was in awe:  I couldn't take my eyes off of her!  She was fantastic!

It's hard to believe she's so old; she's in her seventies but doesn't look more than fifty five!  She's amazing!!

After the concert, I got to meet her!  I was so excited I cried; I was so embarrassed; however, Loretta didn't mind.  She just gave me a big hug and said in her Kentucky twang, "Thank yew, honey, for comin' out to see the show!"  She was super nice!!

Now I really want to be a singer.  Ever since seeing/meeting Loretta, I have been learning more of her songs; my parents must be sick of hearing me sing the same old songs over and over!  LOL  I know I am driving my big sister crazy!!  (She is more into Taylor Swift or the modern country music; me, I can't stand it!)
