Stinko here.  Hope this finds y'all well; I am doing just great!  Life can't be any better than it is right now!  :)  Yeah, smooth sailin', baby! :)

Still not working, but that's okay.  Still have time to find a job; the economy must be worse than I thought; lots of places just not hiring.  Very frustrating; however, I still remain  hopeful.  After all, I am young, strong, healthy enough!

Ma and pa, they know I am looking just about every day, so they don't get on my a** so much.  I spend at least two hours or more every morning looking for work; at least I am putting in the effort!

I do help out around the house:  wash their car, mow the lawn, mow the lawns of elderly people, do the yardwork for them:  anything to make some fast cash, to where I can have a little green, ya know? 

I also get an allowance; get $20.00 per week; however, it never lasts long, especially if I take my girl on a date.  Still seeing Ronee' Reaux; I am falling in love with her more and more each time I am with her!  (I just wish people'd look beyond her physical disabilities and see the cute, ever-giggling, sweet, compassionate person I do!) 

It doesn't bother me that Ronee' is disabled.  So freakin' what!  That should not matter!  They should get to know the real person behind her!  And she is so incredibly talented; she has a singing voice that can knock your socks off!  I mean, that gal can WAIL!!!!  I tell ya, her voice is going to take her places; I just know it!!

It does get frustrating when we can't go do things like roller skating, skateboarding, playing baseball or one-on-one basketball; however, we still can bowl (modified in her case), go on walks, swim, go to the movies or to the park, or out to eat.  It's not like she can't do anything for herself!  She's not totally helpless; she may have a broken body, but her mind makes up for it in spades!  She's smarter than smart!!

I see her brother, and I feel bad for him.  He is doing okay; at least his MD is holding its own.  It's still hard, though, to see him hooked up to a vent to breathe, and getting weaker and skinnier!  I just wonder how long he will last; it's anyone's guess.  I just hope that Johnny is around for a long time; he is one incredible dude!  He is as charming as his sister (not as smart, though LOL  Don't tell him I said that; he'd kill me!  LOL), and he always finds new ways to make me laugh!  He's super!

As for her family, any person could learn from them.  They can learn about acceptance of all races, colors, nationalities, etc., and they can learn about tolerance in its highest form.  They can also learn about compassion and about what it really means to love and love others.  They are true earth-angels, and the world can certainly use more people like the Sandusky family!

The July Fourth weekend was da bomb!  It was the best!  We went to the Red, White, And Boom!!  Festival all weekend, and we saw fireworks to end all fireworks!  The one on July Fourth was especially memorable:  that sucker lasted a good forty-five minutes; you never heard such booming and bamming and banging in all your life!  Wow!  By the time it was over, our ears were left ringing for a good half hour after it ended!  It was spectacular!

And the music!  WOW!  Loretta Lynn.  Kelly Pickler.  Toby Keith.  Josh Turner.  Simply superb!!  And the local acts weren't too bad either; my girl had the audience groovin' with her Cajun-country sound!  She was HAWWTT!!

Now this weekend we will get to do it all over again.  Same scenario, different location.  Our city is throwing a citywide tribute to the military forces/veterans who have served (or are serving); there will be air shows.  Fireworks.  Continuous music.  Military displays and tributes.  Free meals for the veterans and their families (I don't qualify, dangit!).  Just a lot of fun for all ages!  So I will get to see fireworks again this year, and the Fourth has already Fourthed (passed)!  (God, I am sooo lucky!  Most people are fortunate if they see fireworks only once; I get to see 'em twice!!)

Well, I'm getting ready to go job huntin' again; I'll be gone a good chunk of the morning.  Wish me well!  Hopefully the next time you hear from me I will be working!  I ain't givin' up just yet!  :)  I will write in here another time; until then, this is Stinko signing off!  God bless and talk to you later!
