Dear Journal~

Tank Griswald here.  Sorry if I haven't written; school has kept me grounded, with tons of homework to do.  *sighhh*  If I want to pass, it's gotta be done, plus I have been cramming for finals, which are on Friday, in just two days.  Yarg!!

I last wrote on June 13 of this  year; it's now August 5.  Time sure flies when you're having fun, huh?  NOT!  LOL 

Figured I'd write in here to let y'all know what's been shakin' with the Tankster and also his gal, Steffi.  I'm happy to say Steffi's recovered from her fall of last spring; she's walking normally again, back to her usual active self.  I'm happy to see she's no longer hobbling on crutches or using a wheelchair to get around; that was a pain in the a-hole!!

As for me, other than studyin' and doing some last ditch homework, I've really done nothing exciting.  Oh, for July Fourth, we did go to downtown Fort Worth, where they shot off fireworks and had all kinds of activities; that was fun, but man, was it HAWT!!  Then a week later, to the day, we went to Crowley, which is just south of FW and we saw even more fireworks.

Steffi got toasted.  I tanned nice and brown, but Steffi got burnt.  She doesn't tan; she only burns, because of her fair complexion and red hair.  I mean, her hair is RED!!  I'm talkin' CARROT-red!!  I feel bad for her; she wants to have a nice tan; her complexion has other ideas.  Bummer!

We've done a lot of swimming or hanging out at the park when we haven't been cramming for finals or doing our homework; I will be glad when college ends for summer break, which goes for two weeks prior to the start of the new school year, which starts in the latter part of September.  When it does, we plan on doing one thing, and one thing only:  sleeping in!  LOLOLOL

I'm happy to say we got through the severe weather; we did have a round of it last week, but compared to the spring, it wasn't too bad, but last Friday, I think it was, the tornado sirens started.  And today, just about 1:00, the city sounded their sirens for a test run they do every month; I wasn't worried because it's bright wall to wall sunshine out!  No tornadoes today!  LOL

Now it's just supposed to be sunny and HAWT, with temps in the upper 90's to near or at 100 degrees.  Time to hit the pyool, folks!!  Whee!  LOL

Well, I'd better crack the books open again, and make sure I know this dang Theology material if I want to pass the finals!  Dang theology is so hard; it's one of the hardest classes I've taken since I started going to college!  It's an academic nightmare!  Until later, this is Tank saying pip, pip cheerio!  I'm outta here!
