Dear Journal~

Ronee' Reaux here.  Sorry for not writing; just haven't been in the writing mood lately.  Last time I wrote, I was sicker'n a dog:  had a terrible time with my arthritis; it liked to have near killed me!  O, it was horrible!!  I felt so bad I wanted nothin' more than to curl up and die!

Thank God I didn't have to go to the hospital, but I was plenty enough sick as it was!  All I did for three whole days was stay in bed, covers pulled over my head, with nobody to bother me.  ('Cause if they did I would have come unglued!!  I hate anyone botherin' me when I'm sick!  I want everyone to leave me the heck alone!!)

Other than that, I've been pretty good.  A little hot, perhaps, and tryin' to stay away from the bees; they're out in full force this time of year, and I have to avoid 'em like the bubonic plague; allergic.  If I get stung, emergency room time, or else I'm history!  No kiddin'!

I love summer; however, I'd love it a lot more if it were not for those.  Darn.  Bees!!!!

Did I tell you I got disqualified from AGT?  Yes I did!  When I was supposed to be at the callbacks in Las Vegas of a few weeks ago, I was sick in bed.  I couldn't help it; it just happened!  So no chance of making it to the finals for me.  (Again!)  Seems that I was destined to be a warmup act instead of the lead performer or diva.  *Sighhhh*  I don't mind trying out to make it, but being second (or nothing) gets a little old after a while!

Maybe I will try out for American Idol soon; tryouts are next month here in Tennessee.  I plan on being there if my health will allow me.  :)  I am of legal age, you know!

Maybe I can be an American Idol!  Who knows?  Stranger things have  happened; it's worth a shot!!  :)

School is comin' up fast.  This year will find me as a junior.  One more year to go before graduation.  Wow, time sure flies by fast when you're havin' fun!  :) 

Still drivin' my Bug.  Yes, daddy gave me his red Beetle-Bug.  It's mine now.  I love it!  (Daddy got himself a [used] F-150 pick'em up truck.  A bright blue one.  It's really pretty; he likes it!  (Much more leg room for his long, skinny limbs, for one thing! :) )

Daddy pays most of the cost of the insurance, I pay him $50.00 every month.  It's not like he pays all of it; I help out somewhat; it's teaching me all about being responsible with my money.  A good lesson to learn, be it kid or adult! :)

We did see the cast for the 2008 season of "America's Got Talent"; they performed at the Civic Center last month, they were wonderful!  I got to meet David Militello, Kaitlyn Maher (what a pair of cuties!), Neal E. Boyd, Queen Emily, Eli Manning, and "Nuttin' But Stringz"; they were all unbelievably awesome!  I enjoyed the show very much, especially when I got to meet them at the "meet-and-greet" and get my piccy made with 'em AND snared their autographs!  :)  It was cool!!

They were all very nice, especially David, Kaitlyn, Neal, and Eli; they were all more than happy to sign an autograph for me or pose for a piccy!  I think they are all going to be around for a very long time!

And speaking of talent shows, get this:  Susan Boyle is going to be coming to America for a tour!  She was the "Britain's Got Talent" sensation who was the runnerup; I still say she should have been the one who won!!  I hope to see her; that'd be awesome!!  I just love her sooo much!!  (Wrote to her for an autograph; still waitin' to hear from her!  If I get one, I will just die!!)

In a few weeks we will be going to Louisiana for the LeCajun Awards Show/Festival.  We go just about every year.  It's a total blast; I just love it!  I cannot wait!
