Interlude

My name is Jane and I managed to get myself into a situation sort of like Bella in Twilight except, that I am not Bella. I am a friend that used to live in Forks a long time ago and I moved to go live with my father in San Antionio, Texas. Then realized that I wanted to spend some time with my mother back home in Forks, WA.  The characters names are Garret Coupe, Blake Coupe, Meas Coupe,Elise Coupe,Dawn Coupe, Magnus Coupe,Roy Coupe,and Ella Night Garret's girlfriend. Oh and some other people named Jacob, Audrey.

I was being followed by a group of vampires that came out of Rome that are far worse than the Volturi that Stephenie Meyer has in her story, the name of this vampire clan is the Nalamatts. They either wanted me dead, turned, or not to tell anyone of what the Coupe's are.

Preface

 I couldn't believe as to what I had gotten myself into. I am coming between two conflicting creatures, and now I am in the midst of it all. I just came back from San Antonio, Texas after living with my father and now I got myself into a huge mess. What a great way to come back home to Forks, Wa and be the center of everyone's problem. What was I thinking; I had no idea as to how I was going to get myself out of this situation.

Chapter 1

The Coupes

As I sat on the steps of the Coupe's mansion, the cool wind blew past me and sent a chill down my spine and it ruffled the trees in the distance. It was dark outside and the sky threatend to rain. The hair on the back of my neck stood on end, someone was standing behind me, I figured that it was Meas. The person who sat down beside me on the steps was not Meas but Blake Coupe, I do have to admit that for a vampire he is good looking. "Jane, are you alright?", he asked me in his soft voice. Glancing at him I said "I just don't see as to why all of this is happening to me." He didn't look at me as he answered, "Well let's just say life is giving you a lot of things to deal with right now."  "I really don't want any of this, but I guess, I'm stuck," I said unsurely. "Maybe," Blake added. We sat in slience  for a while and I was too busy looking off in the distance to notice that he left.

I was just getting up when something out of the corner of my eye caught me attention a few feet off, it was something gold. Looking closer I realized that was looking into a pair of golden eyes. I also noticed goldish-brown hair. Then it hit me as to who I was looking at, Ella said something about her boyfriend having gold eyes. The person who I was staring at was Garret Coupe, the youngest son of Blake and Meas Coupe. I couldn't help but to look at his eyes for a while. I tried to look away, but couldn't since he kept my eyes locked in place. After what seemed like forever he finally looked away, I was glad for that. Stepping out of the dark forest of trees Garret walked gracefully acroos the grounds to where I was standing. As he got closer lightning flash across the darken sky and then it was followed with a rumble of thunder close behind.

"Hello Jane," he said in his soft voice like his father's. I couldn't speak it was like my voice had faltered. Then finally I found my voice, "Hello, Garret nice to meet you," I said. "I know why you are here, we can talk about it inside," he said meaningfully. "Why?" I asked. He turned  to look at me with his gold eyes and said, "Not now inside first." As we turned to walk inside the sky opened up and it started to pour down rain. I could have sworn that it was my imagination, but I thought I saw Garret smile.  Stepping into the dining room to where his family was waiting for us, I looked around to see who was in there. I saw his parents and siblings were all gathered to hear from Garret as to what was happening.
