Carol Speed was photographed with Senator Ted Kennedy at a fundraiser for him in Malibu, California in 1978 or 1979.  At that time, she still had a little faith in the United States political system.  But as time passed, the illusion of democracy and freedom turned into a long ago forgotten American dream.  Now she doesn't have any belief in the politics of America or the Civil Rights Movement.  The Civil Rights Movement got rid of segregation, but not racism, and it created the atmosphere for increased robbery of black people.  Before the Civil Rights Movement, white people never went into black neighborhoods or ghetto aeras.  In the north and the west, the white politicians only went into black neighborhoods seeking votes.  So if she had to do it all over again she would not have taken a photo with any so-called liberal politician like Senator Ted Kennedy because its been nothing but an ugly nightmare of democracy in the United States and fights.
