I still have a mind full of things; they keep racing through at an incredible amount of speed. They just pop into my head for no reason, and then I HAVE to write them down, or else I lose them forever. This way, I can look back at what I have written down at the time, and I can then reflect on what I have written down at a particular time.
I am thinking about my friends BESIDES Pippa Yancey--friends like Brittanie Breaux, Therese Thibodeaux, Suvlaki Bartakomis, Hannah Joy Powers, Gene Princeton-Peoples (he lives right next door to me; he is the same age as me, and--get this--he is *MY BOYFRIEND*!!), and Opri Johnson (who is presently in the hospital; he has kidney disease, and his remaining kidney has started to fail; he is presently on dialysis; and he is again on the transplant list). I think about what each of them MUST be going through, in terms of problems; and why some (like Pippa, and Opri) *MUST* have so many problems, and why they seem to be struggling so much, while others (like Suvlaki, Hannah Joy, and Brittanie) seem to be having nothing but good fortune.
For instance, Suvlaki has become a big sister again-for the 4th time. Another girl. Antonia Athena Bartakomis. She was just born last week, and she looks JUST LIKE Suvlaki!! She is *SUCH A CUTIE*!!!!!
Or Brittanie and her desire to become a country singer. She has already performed at Opry Mills, and word has it that several record producers are interested in her. Or the fact that my little sister, Ronee', is already an established "up-and-coming singer", and that her debut CD is now available; and that the title track of that CD ("Little Dark-Eyed Cajun Girl") is being played on Cajun stations throughout Lousiana's Cajun Country. And Ronee' is just 9 years old.
Or the fact that Hannah Joy's mom, Ginger, got a great report from her cancer doctor; her cancer is now in remission, and for now she doesn't need any cancer treatments; she can resume a normal life!! *YIPPPIIIIEEEE!!!!!!!!!!*
Or even the fact that my little brother, Johnny, had a great report from his neurologist last week--it seems that his medication to control his seizures is doing its job; he doesn't seem to be having as many seizures, and the seizures aren't as dramatic. Or the fact that his muscular dystrophy HASN'T gotten any worse; his muscles have retained the strength they have had, and he *DOESN'T* appear to be getting any weaker. Which is about the *BEST NEWS* we could have *POSSIBLY WANTED TO HEAR*!!
I am also thinking about those kids who tease others, kids like Cindi Dawson, Amber Ackbourne, and others. How must they be living, when they are so full of hate and jealousy, when they have *ABSOLUTELY NO ROOM FOR THAT SORT OF THING*, when t hey are so rich or have successful families in the first place?? WHY must they be so *CRUEL*, especially to those who are struggling with schoolwork, weight, or disability, or just because they happen to be *MUSLIM*???? (We have a Muslim boy in our school, and ever since September 11 last year he has gone through *PURE-T HELL*!!! I feel SO SORRY for Ahmed!!! He is such a nice kid; *WHY* must they give him grief????)

I am also thinking about how cool it was to have found this particular site on the Internet..just the other day, I was just surfing the 'Net, and I came across this site called AuthorsDen.com, which is where people can write stories, poetry, or articles; and share them with other writers; and hopefully, become published writers. Some of what I have read are really good, in terms of stories, poems, or whatever. Such profound, moving stuff. It is *ABSOLUTELY AMAZING* how people can write so eloquently!!!! So, here I am, a *brand-new author*, and here I am, writing something down!!!! I think that would be *SO COOL* to have other people read what I write!!!!

Hmm...I was just thinking. People may know some things about me, but they have no clue as to what I like in life. So I am going to write down what I like....
Favorite Color: Bright Neon Pink, also Turquoise Blue.
Favorite Band: Belton Richard and "The Musical Aces" (Cajun).
Favorite Singer: Loretta Lynn (Female), Alan Jackson (Male).
Favorite Foods: Boiled Crawfish, Pizza, Spaghetti w/ Meatballs, Mashed Potatoes w/ Gravy, Split-Pea Soup, Southern-Fried Chicken, and Vanilla Milkshakes. Favorite Fast-Food: McDonald's.
Favorite Subject in School: Creative Writing.
Least Favorite: *MATH*!!!!
Hobbies: Playing Music (I play the Cajun accordion, and also fiddle, guitar, and piano), Going to country and Cajun concerts,
photohraphy, writing stories or poems, hanging out with my friends, church activities (I am in the Children's Choir at my church), traveling (I have been all over the United States of America, plus I have been to Canada), collecting anything with cheetahs (I *LOVE* CHEETAHS!!), and playing sports like football, softball, soccer, baseball, basketball, and track and field. (I am VERY athletic, as you can see!! Which is ONE of the reasons why I am *SO SKINNY*!!!)
Favorite TV show: "American Idol" (although I think they should FEATURE KIDS on there!!!!).
FAVORITE ACTRESS: Hallie Kate Eisenberg (child), Rosie O'Donnell. FAVORITE ACTOR: Johnathan Lipnicki (child), Tom Cruise.

As you can see, I am more like you than you may realize, but I am also quite unique. I still have a normal life, even though I sometimes perform (especially in the spring or summer months, when we kids are out of school). I may not be a singer, but I still enjoy playing the Cajun music, and I enjoy watching the fans enjoying themselves; this is what seems to be giving me the most satisfaction. Knowing that my music is making them happy.
I think that is NEAT.
