Howdy!  It's me, the Goonster!

Hope this finds y'all well; as for me, I'm doing.  Still playing football every week; last night's game wasn't the blowout of a few weeks back.  The opposing team gave us a battle; we nearly blew it, but then Hargus kicked the winning field goal just as time expired.  We went nuts!!!  So did the fans!  It was great!!

I haven't had the swine flu, or know anyone that has it, but a kid in our community has it; she's now fighting for her life in a hospital in Queens.  She might not make it.  I hope she pulls through; I guess this swine flu is serious business; it's nothing to mess with!

The kid's only in grade school; it's reported that the H1N1 virus is hitting little kids (and babies) and young adults particularly hard.  I guess I'm in that risk group; just have to make sure to stay away from any pigs or anyone who has the flu, 'coz you never know!  Not good!!

We also have to cover our mouths when we cough or sneeze into our arm or shoulder, and wash our hands (frequently), especially before/after eating, going to the restroom, playing, that sort of thing.  Can't be too careful!!

Oh!  And one more thing: please make sure you get your flu shot, especially if you're elderly or have chronic health problems!!  That is of the utmost importance!!

Shawn finally saw his little sisters Quaneesha and Q'uiri'onka!  He was so happy he cried; so did the girls!  I am hoping that in the end the family will get to adopt the girls; that way, Shawn can be with his sisters again; family should never be separated!  It's really been rough on him (not to mention, me!!).

The weather has turned sharply colder.  The leaves are past their peak, and pumpkins and Hallowe'en decorations are starting to pop up just about everywhere you look. 

I love this time of year; still haven't figured out what I am dressing up as for the Hallowe'en bash at the high school, but I'm sure I'll come up witih something.  I'm thinking more in the line of the guy from the horror piccy "Saw".  LOL

I know I'd scare the hell out of just about everyone who'd see me.  LOLOLOLOL  *BOO!!*  Scared ya, didn't I???  Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-haaaaaaaaaaa!!!!  LOL  *Evil laughter*

I am waiting for my friends Tyler and Gizmo to pick me up; we're going dancing at the local teen club.  We do this just about every Saturday; it's a lot of fun.  Sometimes we don't get home until 2-3 in the morning.  Then we go to bed, where we crash until 12 or 1 in the afternoon!  LOL

Don't usually make it to church most Sunday mornings: we go in the evenings instead.  :)

My sister and brothers are doing okay; Icarus continues to be his usual bratty self.  Joshiah continues to defy the odds, and Marcus continues to be a pain in my backside.  He thinks since he's the oldest he can be the boss of me, which annoys me to no end!!  As for Eden, she is more for herself; we boys drive her crazy a lot of the time.  LOL

They do better than me when it goes to church, as do my folks:  all of them go to both the morning and evening services while I usually just make it to the nighttime service.

Hey, they shouldn't get too annoyed:  at least I make it to church; it's like I don't go at all, ya know??

Well, Gizmo's just driven up in his dad's brand new gold Hummer, so I guess that means he must have really been good.  :)  Gotta run; take care and God bless!  Talk to y'all later; I'm outta here!
