Reagan Laura Patterson of Hope, Arkansas, lets us know what she has been up to.

Howdy from Hope, Arkansas!

This is your friend, Reagan Laura Patterson, writing; hope this finds y'all doing well!  I am doing great; life couldn't be better!

My sister, Lindsay, and my brother, Johnathan, have settled down.  Johnny has learned not to bother me so much, and Lindsay had tubes put in her ears, so she won't get as many ear infections.  It seems to be helping; she's a lot happier (except when it comes to getting her diaper changed; then she screams like she is getting killed!!).

Johnathan has learned to keep "Spike" out of my hair (and out of the food);  mama says that if he does that one more time, he'll have no more iguana.  As for "Jewels", my dog, Johnathan has learned that dogs aren't for kicking but for loving and taking care of.  I also think that the bite that "Jewels" gave my little brother might have done the trick:  she bit him right on the ankle.   Hard.

School is going well; passing all my classes.  My teacher is very proud of how I'm doing.  I'm still palling around with Reaux Michelle Delahoussaye; she and I sometimes spend the night at each other's houses on the weekend, where we have sleepovers or sit up and talk all night.  It's a lot of fun; I just love her!

I sometimes wish I had a sister like Reaux; she's cool!

We had a great Hallowe'en, other than Johnny eating up all the candy and getting violently sick.  That was not fun; he got into major trouble for that one!  Ate all my candy, his candy, and also Lindsay's candy.  We were not happy AT all!  I dressed up as a gypsy girl; Lindsay was a bunny rabbit, and Johnny was a pirate.  (Figures.)

Now we have Thanksgiving staring at us in a few weeks; we plan on going to Uncle Tommy and Aunt Fredericka's place for turkey and all the trimmin's; we always go there every Thanksgiving.  The day after we will go to the mall, so we kids can see Santa Claus and mommy and daddy can shop.  I told them I wanted new clothes and also lots of reading books and paper and pens.  I love to read and draw!!  Always have, always will!

I also told them I wanted a new "Little House On the Prairie" DVD; my stupid brother sat on my last one.  Broke it right in half.  I was ready to KILL him!!!!

Tomorrow, for Veteran's Day, we are going to go to Uncle  Pete's grave and pay our respects, thank him for his service.  He died in the Gulf War in the early 1990's; he was only 35.  I miss him.  We will also visit grandpa Patterson's grave; he died as a result of his injuries he got in the Vietnam War; he was in his sixties, too young.  I miss him too; I miss him bad!

Well, I gotta go; about time for music.  I will write in here again; until then, this is Reagan Patterson saying goodybe for now!  Take care and God bless!

~Love, your friend in Arkansas, Reagan Laura.  :)

What a neat, cute story about, who seems to be, a really neat, cute little girl. Bad enough to have one war casualty, let alone two. For goodness sake, get Reagan another "Little House on the Prairie," DVD.
