Hello!  It is me, your friend, Slobo in Tennessee!

Hope this find you well; as for me, I can do no better; life good now for me.

Still working as bagger at grocery store, taking care of my little mamma, going to church every Sunday (I am good boy!  *grins*).  Even have a girlfriend now; her name's Ivanka.  Met her at church; I got the hots for her, now we together.  (Think I said too much there; sorry!  *grins*)  She really cute; I just hope she think I'm cute, too!

I now walking without sticks; can walk without any help.  Not easy, but Slobo determined; I do real good.  Sticks were okay for a while, but they kept biting my arms; have more marks from those stupid crutch-sticks!  It annoying as heck!!

I sometimes still fall, but I usually can get up by myself, if not, then mamma help me up.  I don't lie on floor for hours and hours, calling for help, thank the good Lord!  :)

Church really important to me.  I love learning about Jesus and all the Bible people; and the  music is so pretty!  I cry every time I hear "How Great Thou Art!" and "Amazing Grace"; those probably my two very favorite church-songs!  I also love seeing all my friends again; I have plenty friends at church!  :)

People really impressed I can walk without crutch-sticks; they are very proud of me.  They tell me I do good job, it make me feel so good!  :)

We get ready for Christmas and TurkeyDay.  TurkeyDay next Thursday; I go to my friend Pete's house, to have turkey with his family.  Mamma coming, too.  We watch football after we eat, be lazy people.  Then on Friday, we go Christmas shopping; I know exactly what to get my mamma for Christmas:  this beautiful crystal vase I saw at flower shop; think she will love it!  I also get computer game for Pete and for Anton; they like that sort of thing.  Me,  I would rather read a book than to play on computer; computer get boring after a while.  *grins*

I love Christmas:  I love the lights, the church-songs ("Silent Night", "Oh, Holy Night", and "Joy To The World" probably my three favorite Christmas songs), and seeing all the happy faces when they get their presents from Santa-Claus fellow. (I like little kid at Christmas; believe in Santa-Claus for very long time.)

It nice to be able to talk, smile, laugh again, without worry of wartime.  I come from the war zone, you know.  Bosnia.  Bosnia now peaceful, but the memories remain; I still have bad dreams at night, especially when my stump-legs hurt.  They remind me of what happen, cause me to have bad dreams.  I don't have dreams so much, but I do have them sometimes.  It make me sad because I think of my friends who die or get hurt, and I had to leave 'em behind to come to America, so I could be safe.

Christmas make me forget of bad times; I can think of the lights, the happy children, Santa-Claus, "O, Holy Night", and snow.  :)  I think Christmas my very favorite time of year! 

Weather here getting colder.  Trees all without their leaves, nighttime longer, go to bed earlier than in summertime.  Don't mind it though, as long as I don't have my bad war dreams!

Mamma looking forward to turkey and stuffing; she love it as much as me.  Yum!  Making myself hungry just thinking of it!  *licks lips*  LOL

On that note, I think Slobo go and feed his face.  All of a sudden, I want turkey sandwich with mustard, mayonnaise, and tomatoes.  Yumm; that's good eatin' right there!  I will also have a can of CokeCola to wash food down.  Yeah, that's a good meal for mamma and me!  I will write in here again; until then, have a good TurkeyDay, don't eat too much turkey or stuffing!  Leave some for me!  :O
