Bonjour, mes amis! Comment ca-vas? J'suis tres hereux, merci!
It's me, Teensy Fontenot, of Lake Charles, Louisiana! I am excited: Thursday, in just three more days, is Thanksgiving: I will be off school then as well as the next day! We have two days off! Plus the weekend! Yay!!!!
I LOVE Thanksgiving: I love it because I love all the food, and watching the parade from New York City on television, as well as spending it with cousins, grandparents, and, of course, my own family! I get to sleep in until at least nine on Thursday (but will probably get up earlier; parade starts at nine; want to be awake when it starts!).
We are doing good: even Mattie, my little cousin who lives with us; he has special needs. He hasn't been in the hospital; that's something we CAN be thankful for! He's been having a pretty good run of good health; I pray it continues!
On Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, we are going to see Santa Claus at the mall. Then we are going to see "Santa Paws" at the movie theater; it looks like a cute movie! (Or is it coming out next year? I can't remember! LOL In any event, if we don't see that, we'll see something else, like maybe the Christmas Carol movie.) Then we're going to downtown Lake Charles, where they are going to have Santa Claus, special music, a Christmas parade, and the lighting of the Christmas tree. They'll even have fireworks, which is always exciting!
On Saturday, maman and papa are going to take us Christmas shopping, and maybe roller skating at the rink. I hope so; I love it whenever we go roller skating. I am getting pretty good at it; I don't fall down nearly as much as I used to! :)
On Sunday, we'll go to mass, like always, then out to eat.
It looks like we have a busy weekend planned, as you can plainly see. I don't mind; as long as I am off school for two days, that's okay by me!
