Christmas Mzuri!!

This is M'Buti here.  Jambo!  Habari gani? 

M'zuri sana, just very, very busy with the holidays on us.  Visiting friends and family.  Attending parties.  Trying to keep the little ones from finding out where "Santa Claus" (presents) are hidden.

That's a full time job in itself.  Especially with ten children, nine, of which, are under ten, and a husband who thinks he's a child!  LOL  My Marine husband is worse than the children at times!  LOL

Jubaki, Eshe', and Kibarake are busy getting ready for their Christmas program at school; that is going to take place in two days.  They have been practicing hard!  It will be easy to spot Jubaki:  he's nearly six feet tall, even though he is only 11 years old!  LOL

Maliki, M'Baki, Muhisani, and Manani (the quadruplets) had their program yesterday at church; they looked so cute in their little snowflake costumes!  They took part in a play called "Christmas Hangups"; they did very well!  They sang their little hearts out!

There were many proud parents and grandparents in attendance at church yesterday!

I know Roberto and I were bursting at the seams with pride!

Next week is the triplets' turn.  Their Christmas program is on Monday, the 14th, a week from today.  I know they will do well, too. 

The house is all decorated:  lights on the eaves and around the windows.  Trees in yard (and inside) decorated in all their ornamental finery, accented with small, twinkling silvery and blue lights.  Christmas stockings hung by the fireplace with care (as it says in that Christmas classic, "The Night Before Christmas").  Christmas cookies and treats well hidden from busy little hands and hungry mouths until just the right time. 

My brothers are doing well.  Both are coming in next week to celebrate Christmas with us.  It will be so good to see them!  I miss them desperately, especially Keserian, who lives in Washington, D.C.!

I know Naiser will be glad:  he's been working hard at the hospital, where he is a neurosurgeon!  He will be off this Christmas; he had to work Thanksgiving.  (Every year he will alternate.)

I got many beautiful cards from friends already, as well as cards from my co-workers at the newspaper place.  We're having our Christmas party tonight.  Just adults; no kids.  Got the neighbor to watch over our pride.  LOL

The kids want to go, but I tell them, "No.  This is mommy and daddy time."  I don't know if they understand or not, but the looks of disappointment on their little sweet faces is enough to tear my heart in two!  LOL

They remind me so much of myself it's not even funny!  Especially Eshe'; she's a mini-me!  LOL
