Dear Journal~

Howdy-do!  It's me, your favorite Cajun, Ronee' Le-Anne!  :)

Sorry if I'm in a crazy mood, but the Cantata yesterday went better than expected, and tonight is our church's Christmas party!  I will be performing, as will my sisters Gemini, Sunshine Lee, and Sun Hee, and my brothers Porter, Sergei, Arjun, and Kwame'.  Other members of the church will be entertaining those who come as well.  It is going to be a big time, Christmas style!!

While we won't forget the main crux of the season (the birth of our Saviour), we may get a little bit crazy, such as when I pull out my Cajun accordion and start the Cajun tunes.  Liven things up a bit, ya know??  Hey, someone's gotta have fun!!  :)  (Might as well be me!  LOL)

And there will be karaoke-ing.  (Don't know if that's spelled right.)  I'm not doing it; doing enough tonight, but other members of my family might, as may some "braver" members of our congregation.  They will get up there on the platform and sing their hearts out!  Should be a blast!  Karaoke-ing is always popular, wherever it's done!

Besides the music/fun, there'll be a Chinese gift exchange, door prizes, singing of Christmas songs, fellowship, and plenty of food! 

Right now, though, I'm sitting in study hall, which goes on for at least thirty more minutes before we change classes.  (I have Conversational Spanish next.)  Figured since I already have my homework assignments done, I'd kill some time on my laptop.  Hey, as long as I'm not disturbing anyone or causing a ruckus, I can do this!  :)

Next Friday is my birthday.  I will be seventeen years old!  Wow!  Nearly a grownup!  (Well, have a few more years to go yet, but when I turn 18, I can drink alcohol, if I so choose to.  Doubt that's ever going to happen; to me booze/alcohol is nasty!  YUCK!  Don't NEED that in my life!  No, ma'am!!)  I will be able to vote, go to college, or work on a career.  (For me, it will probably continue to be music, since I've done it most of my life!)

Next Friday is also Christmas.  We are going to go to Golden Corral after mama gets off work (yep, she works Christmas Day!), and we will have our Christmas after we get back.  It's gonna be strange not opening presents on Christmas morning; we will have to wait til evening!  That's not going to sit well with the little kids ...

Or with me:  I hope I get the cell phone I asked for!!  :)

Well, I am going to go.  Decided to do some more homework (math) before I go to CS.  I will write in here again; I will probably write in here before Christmas!  Until then, take care, and God bless!  Love ya!
