Dear Journal~

I'm bored, bored, bored, bored, bored!  In fact, I'm boreder than bored:  I am so bored I think the rats in the walls of my house have a more exciting life than I do!  LOL

Today is my day off from Taco Cabana.  I'm so glad; I needed a day off after the horrible day I had yesterday!  Didn't get out of work until after midnight:  a pipe busted; water went everywhere; about flooded the whole kitchen!  Then the dishwasher conked out; we had to wait a good hour and a half before the part arrived.  Had to do dishes by hand; that was a joke!  NOT!!

I didn't get out of bed until 12 today, as in 12 noon.  It felt good to sleep in after yesterday's disaster!!

I had a fairly good Christmas, other than working it.  I did manage to make about $50 bucks that day, so maybe it was worth it in the end.  I did get a lot of good things for Christmas, though:  a new skateboard.  Some new high-top tennies.  Some Manga comics (I love Japanese comics; always have!).  Some Japanese manga DVD's.  Some new shirts and pants for work.  Some new shoes and socks, also underwear.  Money from my grandparents in Sweetwater.  Some gift cards for Video World, so I can get some new games.  (I'm a serious gamer!)

I also got a new laptop; my old one died just two days before Christmas.  I was not amused!!  That was my big gift.

Gloria, my sister, came for New Years; she was walking like a little old lady.  She broke her back in a car wreck, but miraculously, wasn't paralyzed.  I felt so bad for her; she was still in quite a bit of pain.  She was on pain meds, but all they did was make her goofy.  It was kinda funny listening to her try to talk; she had a bad case of mushmouth!  LOL

Gloria left last week; even though she and I don't get along sometimes, I already miss her.  I was nicer to her, seeing she had gotten hurt, and she didn't pick on me, like usual.  Guess it was because she was A.) hurting too bad, or B.)  stoned on the meds.  LOL

The weather was nice this past weekend; now that the Arctic Express has left Texas, it's warmed up nicely, with temps in the fifties and sixties.  Very pretty weather; it's too bad I couldn't enjoy it more because I had to work!  Now that I am off today (and tomorrow), it's cloudy, and rain is forecast.  Figures!  Happens every blamed time!!

Well, I gotta go to the little boy's room, so I'd best go before there's an ugly incident on the floor.  I'm then gonna mess around on Facebook and maybe go to YouTube.  I will write in here again soon; until then, this is Rat-Nose signing off!  Take care and God bless!
