Hi!  It's me, Sparkle Diamond Anderson of Pocatello, Idaho!

I am going to be nine yers old in a few months, in April.  My birthday is on April 14.  I am so excited; I hope I get the Barbie dreamhouse I've been wanting since like a million years! 

My life is good.  No unexpected hospital stays or operations; I'm pluggin' away as best as I can, even with my braces and crutches!  I can ride my bike, draw, play with the Wii system, sing, write, read, and annoy my brothers Errol and Calvin and my sister Tasha if I want to!  *grins*

I do anything I set my little mind to; nothing has ever stopped me, and it ain't going to either! 

I am going to have a new baby cousin in a few weeks:  my Auntie Rowena is going to have a little boy; she is going to name him Cedric Ty'reese.  I am so excited; I will have somebody new to play with!

Did you have a good Christmas?  Boy, I sure did; Santa Claus was real good to me!  I got a Wii game system (that was for the whole family; that was our big gift), some new Barbie dolls and clothes, some clothes, shoes, underwear, and socks for me, money, some new books, some DVDs and CD's, and a gift certificate to my favorite place in the whole wide world, Chuck E. Cheese's!!  Yayyyy!!!!

I also got some new crutches.  They have a zebra design; they're really cool lookin'!  That was my other big gift.  :)

I know it sounds funny getting crutches for Christmas, but I have spina bifida, and the crutches I had were getting too small.  So I had to get new ones.  I think they're neat!

I was born with this spina bifida.  Because of it, my legs don't work, and I have had many trips to the hospital or have had many operations.  I don't like that part, but everytime I wake up, mama is always there, and I always get extra scoops of ice cream, so that makes me feel a whole lot better.

Now we're back in school; was off on Monday because it was Martin Luther King Day.  Played all day in the snow; had tons of fun!!

At church, we're getting ready for our Cantata for Easter.  We've been practicin' really hard on our Easter music, and it's a lot of fun!  I love singing for the Lord every week, but especially on special days like Christmas and Easter!  Those are the best days!!
